- my name: Jenn
- where i live: California
- my blog: www.girl-heroes.com
- my move: Trying to pick out my favorite exercise is like being a kid at 31 Flavors. Hmmmmm….it varies, as in I go through phases. For a while I was obsessing (I obsess a lot) on one leg deadlifts. Then plyo. Then squats. Then military presses. Then sprints. I went through this 3 month phase where my favorite exercise was curling the Olympic bar. I really don’t know why…I guess it made me feel stronger than I really am. For the last six months, I’ve been all about kettlebells. I also do taekwondo 2-3 a week. It helps me let go of "stuff" and it’s fun to beat the bags up. Much more fun than beating myself up.
- my meal: My husband is a really good cook and sort of picky…well…uh…very picky. So I get really excited, like skip around the neighborhood excited, when I put something together and he likes it. Especially if it requires him to grill it as in our Lemon Chicken Kebabs (heres the link if you want it http://www.competingtolose.com/2009/05/27/lemon-chicken-kebabs/ ) with Middle Eastern Salad. I’ll make a bunch of the salad "dressing" at once and use it as a dip and spread for other things during the week.

Oh I’m so curious about Kettlebells- I’d LOVE to take a class. All I’ve ever done are kettlebell swings and even those I adore! I’m like you- I am all over the place with training and what’s my fave at the moment.
OMG Jenn – LOOOOOVE that picture of gorgeous you! I have never seen it before. To die for! The pic of the yummy kabob and salad looks delish! I am like you and Deb: my mood dictates my fave move but I guess that’s what makes training fun :-)
