hi!
i may be MIA this week.. and the week after that.. and the week after that. my agenda is looking jam-packed! the next three weekends i will be out of town…
sooo.. yeah. like i said, i may be MIA. i will try to post when i can! but, since it may be hard to do any life-casting while getting ready for all these trips, i will utilize these prep days to post reviews and giveaways that i have on tap. like this one!
dynamo dog treats by cloud star recently sent penny & randy some treats to try out. i can’t say they will be reviewing them.. because, really, they’ll eat anything i throw their way! i will be doing the review, they will be doing the taste testing. it’s a good arrangement. i don’t like to eat dog treats and they don’t know how to use a keyboard. works out well.
dynamo dog treats aren’t your typical canine treats. they are functionally formulated for a dog’s specific needs and infused with vitamins, minerals, fruits, and herbs to help support joint function, digestion, and skin & coat health.
i really like these treats because we are VERY concerned with what we feed our dogs. we use blue buffalo dog food and are always cautious when purchasing other brands for treats. we make sure they are the highest quality and healthiest choice. marshall and i take good care of our own bodies, it only makes sense that we take care of penny & randy the same way we do ourselves. we recently purchased them antlers per our friends’ kristen & rory’s suggestion. they are a MUCH better alternative to rawhide.
anyway, back to these awesome, healthy treats!
the bags are all clearly labeled with what each flavor is along with what health benefit it is geared towards. there are two for hip & joint (bacon & cheese and chicken), one for the tummy (pumpkin ginger), and one for skin & coat (salmon.)
all of the treats are grain-free and all-natural. they are gluten-free and made in the USA by a family-owned company.
the hip & joint treats have added glucosamine and chondroitin. we give this to penny and randy in a pill form, we are very concerned about hip & joint health–especially in randy, since he’s a long dog.
the tummy treats have added probiotics and i thought it was interesting they included ginger–something i have added into my own diet for digestive health. it’s just as important to take care of your pups’ tums as it is to take care of your own!
the skin & coat treats have added salmon oil and vitamin E. i use vitamin E oil on all my scars, so it makes sense that they added this to the skin & coat treat. it’s very important for all that fur that sheds around the house to be in tip-top condition ;)
i cracked open the bacon & cheese flavor for the kiddos to try today. they (not so) patiently waited while i took a couple photos.
as expected, they gobbled these things up and kept begging for more. not a big surprise, i told you they’d eat anything. however, i do love that these treats are the soft kind rather than the crunchy kind. randy likes softer treats better. his favorite food is bread… or larabars. (click that link if you haven’t read the story.. it’s hilarious!)
i used the treats for them to practice their catching skills. they are on point!

I have a golden retriever named Prince…he was brought over as a puppy from Korea but owners couldn’t handle him and gave him to us for free…he’s the love of my life! Georgie is my little border collie mix. I wanted a wiener dog named George. I got a fluff ball named Georgie instead. Would love these treats for them!

I have 3 dogs…2 are my forever dogs..A black lab and a poodle. we Foster service dogs so I always have a third dog- right now its a nother black lab… so adorable!!

I have three Miniature Schnauzers named Mr. Biggs, Buddy, and Bernard. They each have such unique personalities and bring me so much joy every day. They all live at home right now, but Bernard will be coming to live with me at college next semester. I would love some new treats to keep him happy and healthy!

I have a pitbull (Dotty) and a shih-tzu (Hollie). I love that I can go on long runs with my pit and Hollie has been my bff since college!

I have a huge rescue dog – we think he’s part st. bernard/part black lab/all awesome. He peacefully shares his house with 3 cats – and totally knows he will never be the boss of them, poor guy.
I have two big guys. I have an 80 lb, 5 year old lab mix (maybe some Newfie) who is almost all black, and a 75 lb, 3 year old shepherd mix who is a tan and gray brindle. Their names are Wayne (the black one) and Grayson (the brindle). I (and kinda my husband) named them after Batman and Robin- I’m a HUGE fan; I own every Batman movie released. I’ve got the movie from the 60s with Adam West, all 4 from the 80s/90s, and all the Christian Bale ones as as well. Wayne is my husband’s child who is treat oriented when it comes to training. He sees anything in your hands and he’ll sit perfectly at your feet with the best puppy dog eyes he can muster and wait for you to share. If you scoot back, he’ll scoot with you. Right now we’re working on the “speak” command with him. Grayson is my baby who my husband claims is spoiled (he’s just well loved). He just loves to do whatever his big brother does.

I have a yellow lab and he is extra special because he has problems with his hips and joints but he stills gives 100% every day. He is just so happy in spite of his issues.

I have a Saint Bernard puppy named Chloeand am totally obsessed with her too! I love that she has no idea how big she is (6 months and 75 lbs!), and will constantly sit in your lap, try to fit in spaces to small for her (which results in my furniture constantly being rearranged).
I am very careful about the food and treats that I give her and know she would love these!

I have a mutt…I think he’s a german shorthaired pointer/lab mix. I love that he’s so full of life and energy!
My husband and I rescued a husky-German shepherd mix named Ross. He is such an awesome dog and very spoiled! He is definitely an alpha male and likes to boss other dogs around, so my husband and I started calling him Ross the Boss and bossy pants. He’s quite the character!
The love of my life is my chocolate lab, Otto. One thing I love about him is that he always tries to carry these massive (small tree sized) sticks in the house. They never fit through the door, and it never fails to crack me up.
I have a Beagle named Abby and a black Lab named Pepper. They’re both a lot of fun but Abby has the sweetest personality and the best sense of humor. That’s weird to say about a dog but it’s totally true!

I have a “miniature pitbull with abandonment issues” (per Mark’s crew mate) aka Pit Mix and she is needy and snugly and NOT a stereotype and that is why I love her! We are also getting a German Wirehaired Pointer in October and could use the treats for training him!

We have Lulu and Pippa, as you know ;) Maltipoo and toy poodle (we think, she’s a rescue). Love how they warm up the bed before we get in it and clean up the baby’s mess under the high chair :)

I have a pit mix names Kira and she is my 75-lb baby! Yes, she is 2 and a half but still my baby. When I am home, she follows me around. She is NOT a morning dog. She will sleep all day while I am at work and wake up at night. She hates gettin out of bed in the am!

i have a 9 month old black lab named Jax. he is crazy and still so clumsy. he loves to cuddle with me in bed! and is always right in my face when my alarm goes off in the morning. he is constantly right behind me and even tried to climb into the bath tub with me!

I have two fur babies, Moose and Frankie, who are both Golden Retrievers. I love how they are always so excited to see me when I get home. I also love seeing how happy they are when I take them to the dog park, which I’ll be doing today after work.
