hi! before i get started, i would like to share an email i received from a reader (hi, jenna!)
“I have been reading your blog religiously for the last couple of years, and LOVE it.
I am a member of the Sandy Hook, CT community and I deeply appreciate your day of silence. Now is a time for healing and remembering, and it touches me to see that you are recognizing those who lost their lives on that tragic day in my town.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Jenna

i cut bangs in april of 2008 and never looked back. I LOVE HAVING BANGS. i will scream it from every rooftop. i can’t tell you how happy i am that my hairdresser (hi lisa! at taylor d’shaw!) talked me into getting them.
the only drawback of having bangs is that they get in the way during a workout. luckily certain things–like bobby pins (who is bobby, anyway?)–can remedy that. headbands are a good way to manage bangs during a workout, too.. but i usually have bad luck with them falling off my head. i think my head has problems.. there is, like, NO headband that will stay put on my noggin’ during a workout! well, no headband, except the lululemon bang buster.
i originally learned about the bang buster from my friend katie. she’s to (blame?) thank for my collection of pricy headbands. but, i have to say, $15 for a bang buster is WELL worth it. this headband stays in place and keeps my bangs out of my face. i absolutely love it. i wear it often–to the gym, hiking, boating, during tough mudder, and even just out and about when i am too lazy to wash my hair. what? don’t act like that doesn’t happen to you! ha.

BANG BUSTER FOR THE WIN.
i thought i would share the bang buster love with you guys. i bought this bad boy with my own dollar bills and will ship it anywhere in the world.

it’s beaming blue and polar cream in the new fun laceoflage pattern. i hope the winner loves this headband as much as me!

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to get a dog several years ago… I have a miniature schnauzer who I love dearly! I refer to her as my canine life partner :) I have wild curly hair and a headband like that would do wonders during my workouts!
My kids are the best decision I ever made!! I just cut bangs and was regretting it because of working out. I work out everyday and hate how sweaty and in my eyes they get. I will be checking out the Lululemon site today.
That is one cute headband. Why have I never checked these out? Anyway the best descision I ever made was to start voulenteering with sick kids. I was so nervous and thought it would upset me and then one day I realized it wasn’t about me. It was about these kids and went for it. Five years of voulenteering later and I can honestly say these kids changed my life!
rescuing my dog… you know those signs that say “who rescued whom” definitely the truth!
I tweeted.
best decision? to go to the college that i’m at! didn’t pick the “safe” or expected one, and all for the better!
One of the best decisions of my life? That’s easy: giving it over to Jesus! I cannot imagine my life without him guiding it and without that deep relationship. :)
This looks GREAT for my dreads too! Thanks, J!
I tweeted! Spreadin’ the love. :D
The best decision I ever made was continuing to pursue a relationship with God after I went to college!
Love Lululemon and have wanted to try this headband after I started reading your blog!
One of the best decisions I ever made was to start dating my man friend!
Having kids is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! So rewarding!

I can’t pick ONE best decision! Instead I like to think every decision was great because it has gotten me to the point I am today. The BIGGEST decision I recently made was to go back to nursing school! Love this headband!
One of the best decisions I’ve made involves the position I’m in today at work. Giving up night work for a daytime position.
One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to start blogging. Honestly, it’s allowed me an outlet to express how I’m feeling, document my life, and introduce me to some of the most amazing people. :)
Spreading the love – tweeted!
No headbands ever work for me either! I think I have a funny shaped (and abnormally small) head. I’d love to try the bang buster!
Oh yeah, and my best decision ever was dropping out of AFROTC. Controversial in my family but I’m so much happier.
I have bangs too and love them so much. I swear I get complimented on them multiple times a week, and I’ve had them for 4 years now! I would loveee to try this headband – the only thing that i have found that has worked for me is a plastic headband from forever 21 that i got years ago. I would cry if i lost it!
The best decision I ever made was going abroad for a semester in college.
LOVE the headband….best decision ever was to start lifting weights!
Taking a sea kayaking job in what felt like the middle of nowhere… but I met my husband and it led me to where I am today!
I tweeted :)
One of the best decisions I have ever made in my life was to join Fitmixer bootcamp. :) Starting that led me to creating long-lasting healthy changes. I’m now down about 14 lbs since the bootcamp in May and am going strong. More importantly, this is definitely a lifestyle change. I WANT to eat healthy and I know that working out doesn’t have to be hours on the tredmill. So thankful for your blog- b/c that’s how I heard about the bootcamp. :)
I LOVE bangs as well! I always get them and then grow them out, back and forth, but every time I get them, everyone ALWAYS comments on how great they look! Which reminds me…I need to get in for a trim!

I REALLY want one of these! My bangs drive me crazy when I workout! One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to sign up for a cross country cycling trip.
Best decision: Adopting my dog! She is my best friend.
Took the biggest risk of my life and left my job to move home closer to family. It’s scary and frustrating but I haven’t looked back. Cannot beat watching football with my dad, cooking with my aunt and cousins, nightly walks with my mom and puppy…. I loved my job and miss my friends but I can’t get these moments back. Best decision ever.
There are so many that I have made, but the most recent best decision was donating a little over 12 inches of hair to locks of love.
The best decision I’ve ever made was saying yes when my Zach proposed to me! I’m happier than I’ve ever been!
Being bold enough to suggest meeting up with an online crush who’s now my husband :)
Not finishing my PhD program and getting a job instead.
Deciding to be happy.
One of the best decisions I made was to work at the restaurant where I met my husband!

One of the best decisions I’ve made in my life is to separate from my son’s father – for the sake of everyone’s happiness. My mom and dad raised 8 children together so, naturally, I used to think “Stay together for the children” was the most important thing in the world. Logically, when Mom and Dad are no longer happy together, and it just isn’t working, the best thing to do is to walk away.
the best decision ive ever made is to rescue my cute kitty and convince my boyfriend to do the same. our house has never been snugglier
My best decision this year was to start running again! Healthier and happier me is the result. And I tweeted it. Thanks!
I tweeted you giveaway as well!!
Best decision lately was adding an extra dog to our crew. Carl brings us so much joy and his “sister” is starting to love him, too!
