i had big plans to do a bodyrock.tv workout after work and then create an absolutely delicious, tofu-based dinner.
then i was stuck at work 2 hours late.
then it started to dump snow.
then i tweeted:
followed by:
upon walking in the door, this happened:
why yes, that IS four kinds of cereal in one bowl. kashi puffs, three sisters cinnamon swirls, uncle sam multigrain and envirokids koala crisps.
topped with skim milk and eaten with my favorite spoon, owlfred.
happy national cereal day to all!
then, following in line with my tweets.. i found this guy:
and this girl:
and this guy, too:
(yes he shaved AND chopped all his hair off!)
it looks like this outside (still snowing but you can’t tell):
and i am not going anywhere. unless, of course, it is to get more cereal.

i was recently contacted by the folks at buildasign.com and they offered to let me design some snazzy bumper stickers for the blog.
AND some bumper magnets.
cool, right?
buildasign.com is a pretty rad website. they offer all sorts of custom printing & reproduction from small fridge magnets to large banners. you can even get a sandwich board! you know, for your restaurant that you own.
you can use their graphics to create something or you can be like me and upload your own image. the website is super user-friendly and ordering was a breeze.
i will definitely be utilizing their services in the future, maybe i can convince marshall to replace the packers flag with a meals & moves one. ha, probably not…
ANYWAY, the title said this was a giveaway, and yep—it is!
you will only want to enter this one if you like me. why? well, the prize is a meals & moves bumper sticker!
FIVE winners will get a bumper sticker (adhesive).
FIVE more winners will get a magnetic bumper sticker.
ONE winner will get a magnetic bumper sticker along with a ceramic to-go coffee mug:
the fact that the mug matches my blog colors was totally a coincidence, but also totally awesome.
oh, and the bumper stickers don’t necessarily have to go on bumpers. i realize not everyone has a car.. you could stick them on your fridge, on a street sign, on your boyfriend or on your dog.
the magnetic ones, however, will probably not work so well on your boyfriend or your dog.
SO, if you want to win:
- leave me a comment telling me what kind of restaurant you would own if you had to be a restaurant owner.
i want to own a coffee shop that has several quick breakfast and lunch options. marshall shares this dream with me. maybe we will do it some day. i even have a name picked out. i can’t tell you what it is or i would have to kill you.
good luck!

Totally a soup, salad, and dessert cafe! I love soups, chowders, you name it and paired with a crisp salad-you can’t go wrong! Plus, I love dessert and baking! I would totally quit my real job for a chance to have my own restaurant!
BTW, cute stickers!!!
I would want to have a vegan smoothie & juice shop with a fruit & veggie market inside. Yay!
I would own a bakery. I started an at-home cookie business several years ago and I would love to have a cute little shop to sell my goodies in.
I would own a bakery to sell sweets, but have it have a little coffee place/maybe wine bar also. i love baking and my husband loves wine, so it’s perfect!
I would love to own a diner that’s open just for breakfast and dinner. Homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh biscuits and gravy – BLT’s for lunch with hand cut fries and the best soups in town – turns out I am a huge soup whore! :D
I’d love to have a coffee shop with a bakery for sure!
A raw vegetarian restaurant, which would crazy expensive and impractical here in Indiana. Still, a girl can dream! Thanks for being so generous!
I would own Zupas or Kneaders or Paradise Bakery, baby :)
If I owned a restaurant it would be breakfast foods 24/7 365….can’t go wrong with that = )
My husband and I really want to own a restaurant some day! My dream would be a little cutesy cafe in a little town which served fresh foods made to order all day long!
I’d love to own an Italian restaurant. I group up in the business since my father owned 2 diners.
I’ve always talked about having a breakfast and lunch place. Closed up and home by early afternoon! I’d also add a small bakery counter with the best cookies and sweets.
I made the husband some of your snikerdoodles the other day and he said “you can make these again…” Love it.
I would want to own a traveling pop up restaurant where I could showcase different cuisines and menus that circulate year round. I’m thinkin a gourmet Moe’s! Can’t go wrong with a giant burrito!
My shop would be a froyo + yogurt + coffee shop. So, you have get frozen yogurt with any toppings, regular or greek yogurt with any toppings, and then coffee. Three of my most favorite things.
AH! that owl friend is so cute! I love ANYTHING owl :)
Too many choices…but I guess if I had to pick it would be Mexican.
I recently stumbled upon your blog and have to check it daily! Love it! :) I was SOOOO excited to see you were doing the bodyrock workouts! Thinking about doing a bodyrock challenge and just do their workouts for the next 30 days and see what happens!
That sounds like a good idea. Let me know how it goes if you do it!
I’d own a veggie stand… it’s not a restaurant but its close enough right? :)
A pancake restaurant! I am kind of addicted.
Honesty, I wouldn’t own a “restaurant” per say, but I would own a frozen yogurt shop/candy store. And not so much your typically candy, but more like “penny candy” ie: Swedish fish and home-made candy!
I’d own a restaurant that serves only creole cuisine!
