About Perfect Foods Bar

We are a small, family owned and operated company based in San Diego, CA. Each Perfect Foods Bar is made by hand, by happy people! We work each day as a team, because we believe in nurturing and building a better community.

Our Goal

At Perfect Foods Bar, we are passionate about providing health conscious consumers with the highest quality, best tasting REAL FOOD on the market. We go to great lengths to make sure that our products have only the best ingredients.

Our Commitment

It has become very difficult to find quality food with real ingredients in the stores. We are committed to playing our role in the emergence of higher standards for the food industry, and to increasing the availability of high-quality real foods. We are committed to proving that it’s possible to produce a great tasting, real food product without compromises such as chemical additives and large scale machines. We care about the integrity of the foods we produce, and continue to do everything we can to make better foods available.

i love that the bars are made with whole foods, have no funky ingredients and NO refined sugar.

Jessica January 29, 2011 at 2:28 pm

Healthy Teen on a Mission January 29, 2011 at 2:35 pm

the cranberry crunch bar looks really good! i love how i can actually understand the ingredients and what they are haha

Pete January 29, 2011 at 2:36 pm

Wow! It’s really great that Perfect Foods has part of their site devoted to getting their product on college campuses. This is an awesome push since so many unhealthy habits, especially poor food choices, happen during the college years. I especially love their high protein content which is impossible to find in whole food bars. I’d really like to try their Fruit & Nut flavor!

Meghan January 29, 2011 at 2:38 pm

I am all about the cranberry but it sounds like i will have to give the pb a shot too!

hannahviolin January 29, 2011 at 2:38 pm

Hanne January 29, 2011 at 2:47 pm

I’d love to try the almond butter one! Unfortunately, what I learned on their site is that they only seem to ship to the US :(

Ida January 29, 2011 at 2:47 pm

What a fun giveaway! I liked reading about the athletes they work with. If the bars work well for a decathlete, then I’m sure I’d be very happy with them.

Nellie January 29, 2011 at 2:49 pm

Organic red bell pepper and kelp in the Peanut Butter bar?? I would love to try that!

Gabriela @ Fro-Yo Lover January 29, 2011 at 2:49 pm

Laurel January 29, 2011 at 3:05 pm

I think it’s amazing that the bars are made by hand!

Sarah January 29, 2011 at 3:10 pm

i love trying new bars! i looked at their website and was impressed that they make each bar by hand. very cool.

Kristin January 29, 2011 at 3:14 pm

What a GREAT giveaway!! I have ALWAYS wanted to try Perfect Foods bars! When I went on their website, I was very pleased to read that they make every single bar by hand. I think in the year 2011 it is very common for companies to utilize machines for the sake of efficiency and cost. It makes me feel good to know that Perfect Foods is different :)

Jennie January 29, 2011 at 3:18 pm

The carob chip flavor sounds delicious! Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway, Janetha!

Carbzilla January 29, 2011 at 3:21 pm

I’m interested in the Cranberry Bar (who doesn’t like Crunch?), but strange that the Almond Butter one isn’t on their website.

melissadishes January 29, 2011 at 3:21 pm

I follow you on FB and left a comment

Kelsey January 29, 2011 at 3:21 pm

I’m not a big peanut butter fan (I know – the blog community will excommunicate me now), but Cranberry Crunch sounds delightful!

I would love to win the Perfect food bars….they are not sold in any stores here in Spokane, WA. I found it interesting that they have dried “whole food” powders in them…so many great foods like papaya, spinach, tomatoes, apples and red bell pepper! I’m thinkin I would break into the carob chip first :-)

Heather (Where's the Beach) January 29, 2011 at 4:05 pm

Oh very cool. I’ve not seen these – their site says one store here does carry them though. Thanks so much for sharing about them. I think I’d have to try the Cranberry Crunch.

Heather (Where's the Beach) January 29, 2011 at 4:06 pm
