ahhh! i just spent an hour trying to find a camera card that i conveniently “misplaced”.. it has a bunch of photos on there that i need! and it had my photos of my meals for a post. welp.. that’s not happening! time to improvise and post something else. luckily, i had the photos for this post saved on my hard drive.
i got a reader’s request on how to wear a scarf. (hi rachel!) i suppose now is as good a time as any for a little tutorial, no?
first off, i buy two types of scarves.
short & square:
long & rectangle:
i will now show you the incredibly technical way i achieve both looks.
for the short & square.
to achieve this look, i simply first fold the scarf into a large triangle.
then, i take a tip of the triangle in each hand and put the scarf in front of me. and cross each tip behind my neck.![]()
finally, i pull the tips in front of me so they lay even with the other tip of the scarf.
tada!
for the long and rectangle.
i do basically the same thing, without the folding step.
i make sure the scarf is not folded at all.
grab each end.
i then drape the scarf over my neck the same way i did with the other style, wrapping the tips around once so they end up in the front.
there are a couple ways you can situate this.
this way—more loose and drapey:
or this way, tighter around the neck:
i know there are LOTS of ways to wear scarves, but these are the only two ways i wear them. i am super claustrophobic and these are the only ways that don’t drive me absolutely bonkers.
so. there you go! i know this may seem silly to some of you.. but hey, inquiring minds want to know! and i am here to answer. if you have any other totally random requests for me to ramble about, please don’t be shy. i love random rambles.
as my title says.. adios. i will be taking a break from blogging for the next week. i have some fabulous guest posts as well as a great giveaway lined up for you guys so make sure you come around while i am gone!
see you in a week, don’t miss me too much ![]()
