simply switches gift basket giveaway!

remember at the beginning of the month when i told you all about the simply switches program and rattled off the simple switches i would be making for the month??

well.. the month is almost over, and i have been having a great time with my switches! time for a recap (and a giveaway!)

1. eat more of a variety.

i have done a great job at eating a bigger variety of foods. even this morning, i threw a grapefruit into my breakfast mix for some variety.. plus, citrus is SO good right now. i say that a lot.. it’s true!

mmm. juicy.

i also had some 2% chobani, kashi golean and skippy peanut butter.

2. reduce the snooze.

okay, i am doing better at this.. but it depends on the day. for instance, today i hit snooze for an hour. i am trying to only hit snooze for a maximum of 30 minutes. it’s a work in progress, people!

3. keep fresh flowers in the house.

check! we have tulips in the vase right now and they are so pretty and really make me smile.

4. stretching during commercials.

i have been doing this a little.. but what i have really focused on doing is stretching for longer amounts of time pre- and post-workout. i hope i will be able to touch my toes by the end of the year!

5. more meatless meals.

not to shabby on this one, we have had at least one meatless dinner each week!

i am pretty proud of my simple switches and really am surprised at how easy they are but what a difference they make. i am going to continue to make small switches in my daily habits throughout the year.. by the time 2012 hits i am sure i will be a new woman ;)
