it has been a semi-productive day..my intentions have been good, but my follow through is lacking.
i grabbed an enormous mug of coffee.
i finally unpacked my foodbuzz festival suitcase, but instead of putting everything away, i put everything into piles. i am a chronic pile maker. is there a support group for this?
and instead of putting my suitcase away in the garage, i left it in the hallway. i mean, i am going out of town again next week.. why put it away? right?
i sorted the clean clothes and made a pile of “hang ups”. i even grabbed all the empty hangers from my closet. that is where the project ended.
hanging clothes up is the bane of my existence.
i tore the sheets off the bed to wash them…
but now they are just on the floor, waiting in line for their turn in the washer. because there are clothes in the washer, that will get washed, dried, and add to the never-ending pile of clothes than need to be hung up…
i was going to putty all the holes in my bathroom wall, we have had a horrible experience with an unruly towel rack that never seems to want to stay put.. no matter where we place it on the wall. always falling off or wobbly and loose. i finally ripped the rack off the wall and threw it away. but there are holes. many, many holes.
i opened the jar of putty to find that it was totally hard as a rock. so much for that project. the holes remain.
talk about anxiety.
at least both of my bathrooms are super, duper clean!
did you know that “duper” is a word? or at least firefox thinks so. it didn’t give me a squiggly red line.
i thought about going to the gym. for a few hours, actually. then the clock struck three and the gym closed. so much for that idea.
i ate leftover, cold pizza instead.
marshall & i went to CPK yesterday. i got the pear & gorgonzola pizza on honey whole wheat crust, which was also topped with chicken, chopped hazelnuts and arugula tossed in gorgonzola ranch. i brought half of my pizza home and told marshall he could have it.
sorry husband, i ate it.
he won’t mind. he won’t even notice. he is too busy geeking out, playing warhammer.
yes. it’s true. warhammer.
i feel the same way about it, randy. yawn.
one thing i DID follow through with was buying this cute bookcase from crate & barrel. fun fact: i had a 10% off coupon that expired in october, and it still worked. score!
that was probably a bad idea.. getting online to shop.. because now i am sitting here, procrastinating online, knowing i have so many started chores that i really need to finish.
i can’t even begin to think of where all of this swag from the foodbuzz festival is going to go. i have zero room left in my kitchen.
maybe you guys can take a bit of it off my hands.

Qs~
1. are you a procrastinator or a (insert word that means opposite of procrastinator here)? i am a PROCRASTINATION STATION. definitely my worst trait. i mean, i haven’t even picked up my wedding photos yet…
2. most hated chore? folding laundry. it makes me cringe.
