i’m stressed.

thanks for those of you who participated in my impromptu protein bar giveaway :) it was fun to see how a lot of you managed to incorporate the word “yahtzee!” into your comments. clever friends. anyway, i pick the winner old school style and asked marshall to give me a random number.. and then i counted the yahtzees until i got to that number.. and so yahtzee #19: marie (reader), you win! email me your address and i will send you some bars.
meal 1: chocolate raspberry protein oats.
i could eat this every day. and i probably will, until my EAS chocolate protein powder is gone.
i had a hot lunch date this afternoon! as i was driving to lunch, i polished off my bag of mini bell peppers.
i need to go back to costco. stat.
my lunch date was with mary and shannon!!
mary is driving cross-country right now, on her way to oregon. she was sweet enough to take some time from her trip to go to lunch with me. it was so nice to finally meet her in person! she is just as sweet as you’d expect from reading her blog. mary is currently staying with shannon who lives a bit south of SLC. i had never read her blog before so i didn’t “know” her until today~ she is freaking awesome. love meetups!
we went to a mexican joint in the SLC: cafe rio.
meal 2: grilled chicken salad with LOADS of pico.
with GUAC.
good times. then it was back to work. boo.
eventually i hit the road to go meet marshall at the dentist. i had my snack on the go..
meal 3: apple + mighty maple peanut butter.
i chopped the apple, threw it in a mug, slathered the PB on top and threw it in my cup holder. called it good.

I love all melons (twss), hah.
But the dentist… I never like.
Oh, and I would love to be entered into the contest!
Have a nice day (:
ooh, the dentist. I’ve been there four times in the last month with my last (fingers crossed) visit scheduled next week. I was so tense after my last visit my neck was out of whack for four days. Just talking about the dentist gave me goose bumps (and not the good ones).
watermelon has to be my fav o rite melon EVER. I could eat a whole one, I swear! Are there any other melons out there? If so I’m not aware of them, prolly because they’re icky.
I love Jackie Warner and have both of her work-out dvd’s. I’d LOVE to read her book too!
I would love to win that book!
mmm, the watermelon looks yummmmm!
The last time I went to Cafe Rio was on a family trip, ahh the memories :-)
Favorite melon is probably honeydew, but I love it all!
Wow, that guac looks totally glorious!
Favorite melon: RIPE cantaloupe–none of that unripe woody stuff.
I absolutely hate the dentist. I’m not say how long it’s been since my last appt…
not entering le giveaway, just saying I love you – and watermelon. muah!! :) xo
I like cantaloupe and watermelon. No honeydew for me.
And I hate going to the dentist. I have TMJ and my jaw always gets really aggrevated when I go. I spend the entire time worrying that it’s going to lock and then it always does (not completely, I just can’t open my mouth very wide for a while.)
I want to win that book!!! Prettyplease :)
1. Cantaloupe. My dad is obsessed with melons and growing up our kitchen table had a plate of the fresh stuff ready for snacking on at all hours of the day.
2. No. The toothpaste/wax they use tastes like crap, I spit all over myself, my gums bleed when they floss me, and I gag on the flouride.
Love you lots JB!!! Remember to breathe and smile at the little things :) xoxo
Is it too late to enter? I’d love to read that book!
Ok, yes, I will be needing the recipe for your faux-agna please! That looks delicious!
1. Watermelon! :)
2. I love going to the dentist ONLY for teeth cleanings. I feel so clean afterward!
I want the book, pretty please!
I’d love to be entered in the book giveaway :)
i love jackie warner in a bad way.
..sort of like the way i love you.
I like pretty much all melon except I am VERY picky about my watermelon; it cannot be overripe at all. There’s two other interesting melons that I like: Howell melons and canary melons.
Hope you’re having a good week!
how do you cut up those tiny bell peppers?
the watermelon smile is great; I have the feeling it’s going to be contagious across the blog world…
I’d love to win the book!!!
1) Favourite melon is either watermelon or honeydew… but they have to be cold!!!
2) I’ve always liked going to the dentist. I’ll never forget when I used to go with my brothers when we were kids. I’d always go first and then I’d wait in the waiting room and hear them screaming when they would get their teeth cleaned. Ah, the memories!!
I’d love to win Jackie’s book!
I’m also a relatively new reader and have really been enjoying your blog. Thanks!
Don’t stress, breathe. I know your life is RIDIC full right now, so I can imagine, you’re a little stressy at times :) I resemble that comment :)
Enter me please!
xo
im in desperate need of a new book to read!
ooo… I would love a copy of Jackie’s book. I’m minorly addicted to Workout on TV – Jackie is so inspiring.
Those bell peppers are so cute at costco!
Would love to read that book too :)
I’d love to be entered in the book giveaway!
I am kind of in love with Jackie Warner (I miss “Work Out”!) so I would love to read this book! I loved your review too, thanks for the detail!
hate the dentist and the bills that come with it…#fail. Saw your FB- hope you can get something worked out. I am reading your posts backwards- I can’t keep up with Reader these days! Love the look of that fauxagne…and hooray for blogger meet-ups! Woooo!
Melon- canteloupe or honeydew. Yum.
