this is not a regular post. this is a request from me to you! and by you i mean ALL OF YOU!
as you know, i leave for jamaica on february 5th. instead of going the usual guest posting route, i want to do something a little more fun and fast paced. something EVERYONE can participate in!
so i am asking EVERYONE.. ALL my readers.. those with blogs and those without.. to submit a mini post for me to use while i am out of town!
here is what i am requesting you include in your submission:
- your name
- include a photo of yourself only if you want it posted.. it is optional.
- where you are from
- city and state
- blog name & address (if applicable)
- one move you love
- this can be a specific exercise (ie: walking lunges, ball crunches) or any type of move at all (ie: snowboarding, running)
- include a photo of the move (of you doing the move or something visual representing the move) if you want.. not required!
- AND/OR one meal you love
- this can be a whole meal (ie: grilled chicken kebabs with brown rice or PBJ oats), just a specific food (ie: vanilla ice cream or pears), a recipe (ie: ingredient list and steps on how to make the recipe).. anything goes—you just have to LOVE to eat it!
- include a photo of the meal/food if you can.. not required but definitely suggested since we all love food porn ;)
that’s it! i think this will be a fun way to see lots and lots of people’s favorite meals & moves all in one spot. i am requesting this so far in advance so i can get them all lined up to auto-post while i am on vacation.
i am not saying “pick your FAVORITE meal and move” because i am really horrible at picking favorites.. so i just said pick one you love!
remember, the photos are optional and you can choose to do both a meal and a move or just one or the other.. it is up to you!
you can submit your guest posts via email: janethabenson (at) gmail (dot) com. you can type it in the body of the email and attach photos or you can prepare it in microsoft word. both methods work.
i would really love ALL of you to participate~even if you have never commented! it would be a fun way to get to know everyone a bit better!

I stumbled across your blog while following a blog of a friend/co-worker. You BFL results are AMAZING !!! I want to try to do the challenge and look as fabulous as you do. Do you think if I follow the rules etc with some flexibility to it I will get great results too??? You are an inspiration :)

great idea, girl! oh and about the christmas card, we’ve been having MAJOR issues with the post office since December. They seem to think we’ve moved, and we’re only getting about 25% of the mail–it’s so random! At first we thought it was just my mom’s mail, but apparently some stuff to me in MI is getting returned to sender, too. We’ve talked to the post office like, a gazillion times, but they said everything was ok. Sorry about that, girl! :( It’s really frustrating cause my mom was supposed to get her renewed credit card but it got returned, so they canceled it… bills are being returned… just a bad sitch!
anyway, it’s ridiculously awesome that you’re going to Jamaica!
