hi! wowwwwza, lots of time has passed since i checked in. lots has been going on! some good, some bad. if you keep up with me on instagram, you know about some of my happenings.. moving, halloween festivities, saying goodbye to my fam that is moving to cali, and fox’s febrile seizure. ugh. lots to recap when i can, but for now.. how about a festive giveaway of CEREAL?
my friends at general mills are always so generous. love those people. they sent my family monsters cereal, marshall’s favorite, and even told me i could give away a couple prize packs to you guys.

1. We go to a huge party in an awesome trick or treating neighborhood where we trick or treat as a crew of about 30 kids
2. I don’t have the energy to dress up any more but we have two little wiches and a hockey player
3. I really love so so many cereals both junky and healthy- one of my faves is Honey Bunches of Oats

My son and I are Mickey and Minnie Mouse! He chose his costume and I decided to match him,
Capn’Crunch! This year I found a limited edition Halloween Capn Crunch and it was the best.

My daughter is going to be a cat, per her request, and she has stuck with that idea since the beginning (she’s 3 so I figured we’d have many costume requests, but nope!). I might try to come up with something simple between now and tomorrow for myself.
I don’t know if I can pick a favorite cereal…I haven’t met one I don’t like yet! We are big cereal eaters in this house, we all snack on it and my husband and daughter also eat it for breakfast pretty often.

I am running a halloween 5k in the morning and I will be dressed as a minion.
Favorite tradition is actually a new one. Having my niece come over and help hand out candy and then going out with the boyfriend for drink and fun with friends.

My favorite Halloween tradition is definitely trick or treating! I participated in an adult trick or treat sponsored by a historic district in my city this year, and it was so much fun!
I snagged a goofy vintage mask from an old Japanese tv show off of ebay this year, keeping it simple (and channeling my childhood) with that and a robe.
Number 3 is easy; Boo Berries! My parents didn’t buy me sugary cereal very often, but a trip to Grandma’s house around this time of the year ALWAYS meant Boo Berries :)
