hey there!
the aftermath of the auction is pretty busy! and donations are still coming in. another $500 today alone! awesome. thank you all.
susan and i were interviewed by her local paper today and have a skype interview with her local news in the morning. we are hoping that getting the word out about her situation will help change the medical system in her province, or at least get her some help.
as far as the auction goes, i have worked on matching up winning bids with emails all day and have sent a notification email out to all the winners.
i did have a number of emails come back to me, and i wanted to list them here before choosing the next highest bidder.
i am hoping that these people just entered their email address in wrong! i will give you a day or two to see this post and contact me either via comment or email and let me know your correct email.
here they are:
Mama Pea’s Dough Balls + Autographed Book: $300 bid from Alexia
The Unique Closet $75 Shopping Spree: $80 bid from Carolyn
Whole Foods $20 Gift Card: $50 bid from Liz
Whole Foods $20 Gift Card: $51 bid from Sarah
and several bids from a “Jessica” with the email “jess@yahoo.com”
if this was you.. please please please contact me ASAP. otherwise, the next highest bidders will be notified that they won.
as for everyone else i notified about winning an auction item, i will get you an invoice ASAP. working through all these posts is taking a wee bit longer than expected! thank you for your patience.
and everyone else, i promise to be back with a ‘”normal” post as soon as i can–i miss blogging!
off to do some invoicing…

Have a great day girl and thank you!!!!!! So great about you and Susan getting interviewed! I hope the word does spread to get help with medical insurance! love you!!
Janetha, you are doing a wonderful job with all of this!! I’ve never donated something for an auction before so I am trying to figure out how I get in touch with my winner and get contact information etc. Do you email me with their info or how does this work? Thanks!
Thanks again for all of the work you put into this!
You are an awesome friend! Susan is so lucky to have you, and I can’t get over how loving the blogging community can be. Keep up the great work! :D
Great job, Janetha. This is truly incredible! Tell Momma B. she was amazing too! :)
You’re doing an awesome job Janetha :) I’m waiting for your invoice… not sure what I won since I bid on about 5 things, hahaha!
I know you probably have a parade of friends helping, but let me know if I can lend a hand!
I can’t even wrap my brain around how much work this was Janetha!! Kudos to you!
Thanks for all that you’re doing! I can’t imagine it’s a simple task. I’m patiently awaiting my invoices and feel so happy my $$ is going to a great cause.
I am late to the fundraising auction, but just want to say you’ve done an amazing thing. It’s a beautful gesture of friendship and support. All the best to you!
