hey guys! remember when i told you all about the renew life probiotics?
well, i was talking to my doctor today and he said that it’s a good idea to be taking a probiotic that includes several different strains of the “good” bacteria. i was happy that he said this because the ultimate flora critical care probiotic has a whole boatload of the good stuff:
a whole bunch of good cultures with names i can’t pronounce. awesome.
anyway, a lot of you guys expressed interest in trying a probiotic yourself. you are in luck! the company has offered to give a bottle of renew life probiotics away to one of you!
three ways to enter:
- follow the renew life founder, brenda watson, on twitter and tweet “@janeeetha is giving away a bottle of renew life probiotics from @brendapoopscoop http://wp.me/pv3O5-8yy” and leave a comment letting me know you tweeted.
OR
- “like” brenda watson on facebook and write on the wall saying meals & moves sent you and leave a comment letting me know you did.
OR
- go to brenda’s website and look around. there is a TON of info there!! come back here telling me something you learned in the comments section.
or you can do all three!
this giveaway will end friday night and i will announce the winner saturday. GOOD LUCK!

I learned that regular exercise, like walking three times per week for 40 to 60 minutes, has been found to increase the size of the hippocampus in previously sedentary adults who had already experienced shrinking of the hippocampus! The hippocampus is the area of the brain mainly responsible for memory.
Holla!! My poor little tummy needs some of these :( I “liked” her on facebook!
oh my gosh there is a correlation between poop and sex! haha! A good sex sesh is like a good poop sesh! :) too funny!
Posted on Facebook. I need to try these!
posted on facebook. Yogurt is pretty much my last hold out for veganism because of the probiotics.
I also went to Brenda’s website. Interested i the fish or fish oil info, because me and my two sons do not eat fish.
I was looking through her archives for quite a while..good stuff! I learned that antibiotics can remain in your system for up to two years..that’s a little scary to think about.
I learned I should be filtering my water – I didn’t realize there were so many toxins in the water :(

I need to filter my water more often!! :) Hope I win!
I learned from her website that colon cancer isn’t found in third world countries, it’s a “civilized disease.”
I learned so much about a good poop! I need a good probiotic!
i “liked” Brenda on FB. i wonder if pill or yogurt form is more healthy; are probiotics naturally in yogurt or are they added in production? (not that you’re an expert, just curious if you know).
I have no idea.. that is an amazing question though!
CHecked Ms Watson’s FB page~!

per brenda’s website:
Any more than two servings of fish per week (and it depends on the fish—some are much higher in mercury than others), and you’re better off with a fish oil supplement that has been purified to meet purity standards set by International Fish Oil Standards (IFOS).

Sex and poop are related? What the heck?! lol…

I tweeted! Great giveaway!! :]
I had no idea Marshall had Chrons! I have Chrons as well! Wow, I totally relate with him. The doctor advises me to take a probiotic and a digestive enzyme every day. It’s my most important vitamin.
I just left a message on Brenda’s FB page! btw I take this brand of probiotics too!!!
Wrote a coment on Brenda’s FB page!
I learned that I need to start checking for the IFOS seal on the box of fish oil suppliments instead of just grabbing one!
Probiotics, yay! I drink a lot of tap water, and my filter is sooo old, but after reading various pieces on the site, I learned that I need to change the filter!
I learned that if you have 3+ servings of fish per week, it’d probably be better to take a supplement instead.
tweeted @ punkin4675!

“For a healthy bowel movement, you should sit your bum on the toilet, prop your feet up on your store-bought LifeSTEP, so you are in the squatting position like those people in third world countries who have no toilet (and who, by the way, have no colon cancer, hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, IBD, and IBS, just to name a few of our “civilized diseases”). The poop should slip out of you, just like a child sliding down a water slide, a slight push and out it goes.”
Wow! I found out so much about poop and pooping. It was really interesting, especially for me since I have digestive issues. I can’t wait to read more on her website and see if I can figure out what I need to do for my body. My GI doc isn’t helping much!
I checked out Brenda’s site and read all about what poop should look like!
I liked on FB :)
I went to Brenda’s website and read all about toxins in your gut and how it can get absorbed into your bloodstream, which can be very harmful to our bodies. Great giveaway!
I was already familiar with the recommended “squat” for pooping, but I did get a giggle out of reading about the sex-poop relationship.
I’m following Brenda and I tweeted about the giveaway!

Liked brenda on facebook and commented on her wall!
I learned that even if it’s organic, “processed” food is still bad for you!
I knew most of the info on the first page, but the poop chronicles were very informative! I had no idea what was healthy in regards to poo!
I learned that you should choose a probiotic that lists the expiration date based on the lifespan of the cultures in it. I would have never thought of that!
I loved the part of the Poop Chronicles that relates poop to sex! Great knowledge and quite funny.
I tweeted! Great product and my fiance would especially benefit from this as he has digestion issues sometimes!
