sooo.. i had a busy day today! and i already have strayed from my meal plan. told you i would.
i sorta stuck to monday’s plan.. breakfast was an egg white scramble and fruit, lunch was leftover taco salad, my snack was greek yogurt with a banana and peanut butter and dinner was calzones.
we were going to have salmon, but the local fish market is closed on mondays and i won’t buy fish at the grocery store. call me weird.. but i like the freshest of fish. plus my friend’s parents own the fish market, so i like to support them.
SO.. calzones it was!
you can check out my calzone how-to post here if you want a little bit more details on how i make them.
tonight we filled ours with pizza sauce, faux pepperoni..
green bell pepper and red onion..
black olives..
and mozzarella string cheese!
oops.. one had a blow out! we can’t all be perfect.
i ate my calzone alongside some broccoli sprinkled with parmesan.
hot pockets have nothing on this whole wheat pillow of pure pizza deliciousness. ![]()
these are labor intensive, but boy, the results are delicious. definitely worth the effort!
and worth the MESS they make!
yes, that is flour ALL over my cell phone. no, it was not strategically placed there in anticipation of this giveaway i am about to post. but it just goes to show that i really should have been using the cell mate tonight…
remember when i ran into my friend at the expo and he was selling his invention.. the cell mate?
to remind you.. the cell mate is a clear, magnetic cell phone holder that attaches to your fridge.
you can put other things in the cell mate.. such as:
- coupons
- your keys
- pens
- your ipod
- a recipe
- your dog
okay. maybe not your dog. but you get the idea! it is a handy magnetic holder and it is absolutely genius.
my friend offered to give a cell mate away to one of you guys! nice of him, right?
two ways to enter:
- for one entry go to the cell mate website, take a look around and then leave a comment below telling me what you would use the cell mate for.
- for TWO additional entries, “like” the cell mate on facebook (click link)and simply write on the wall saying meals & moves sent you!
also, my buddy is offering a special meals & moves discount if you want to buy the cell mate. simply enter “mealsandmoves” in the discount code section upon checkout and get 25% off your order. they are only $10, so this discount makes them $7.50! also, get free shipping when you order two. sweeeeet.

i would, without a doubt, use it for my phone…i get SOOOOOOO much crap all over it in the kitchen, but i love having it there to play my itunes!
I loooove calzone! I need to whip up a batch!
For my phone for sure! :)
You know I would use it for my beloved iphone.
And I did the facebook thingy and said meals and moves was awesome ;)
for my iphone, of course!!
that calzone looks amaaazing btw.
i would use the cell mate (hehe, love the name) for coupons! it’s the perfect size.
I would use it for my phone. i dont have much counterspace, so you can imagine the messiness that occurs in my kitchen!
I would definitely use it for my phone!
thanks to you AND your friend for the giveaway, janetha!
i would use the cellmateto hold sticky notes and paper clips and pens…right now, these are in my clutter drawer but it’d be handy to have them on the side of my fridge!
might use it for my phone if i’m in the kitchen for a long time, but it would be a great coupon holder too!
Um… My PHONE! fo sho!
I FB “like” Cell Mate!
And I commented on their FB page!
Cell phone. All the way I’d use it to hold my cell in the kitchen… I don’t want what happen a few months ago to occur again…
Water + phone = DEATH
haha Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
I would use it to store my iPhone while I’m in the kitchen. There’s nothing more distracting than a Words with Friends move when you’re trying to cook. ;)
I love this thing!!!! I am always throwing my cell phone around and then seem to misplace it. I would use my cell mate in my car. I’d find a place to stick it so that when I’m driving, I won’t have to scramble around in my purse looking for my phone and risk crashing.
i would love to use this while cooking in the kitchen – what a great invention!
totally spilled olive oil all over a friend’s blackberry during a cooking party. her phone has never been the same since… though i think she finally got a new one about a month ago. party foul! so yeah… i’d use it while cooking in the kitch :)
Your calzones are so cute! I love that you used string cheese inside :) I need a cell mate. I cannot find two things in my house….almost daily- my cell phone and my keys. I know its just going to get worse once we have the baby!
I would definitely use it for my phone…and maybe get a second one for coupons!
And I went facebook official :)
I would give the cell mate to my boyfriend who is ALWAYS loosing his keys, cell phone and wallet. Every. Single. Day.
This thing would allow us to be on time (no more looking for things) and reduce a lot of pointless, stressful arguments!
I would definitely use it for my cell phone — or I’d use it to leave little notes to Jason — we could keep post its and a few pens in there.
I liked them on FB!
I would probably use it for important papers that somehow always seem to get lost!
I would definitely use it for my cell phone. I always seem to lose track of it in my house. This would be perfect for me. :)
I would definitely use it for my keys which I lose on a daily basis.
organizing my coupons/mini envelopes on my fridge door!!! I have coupons I forget to use everywhere! I have a bathroom suction-cup soap holder suctioned to my bathroom mirror, where I put either my toothbrush, toothpaste, or random little face products to get it off my bathroom counter, and it helps so much! I need one for my kitchen!
Barbara
I’d definitely use it for my keys, or concert/sporting event tickets, or pens (so the cat can’t get at them). Such a great invention!
By the way…those calzones look delicious!
I Would use it to hold pens on the fridge, because I’m always looking for one when I want to add items to the list that is on the fridge.
i like the idea of having a place to put my phone or ipod touch within easy view for when i am using a recipe i’ve pulled up on them :)
For my phone! Otherwise I put it somewhere, forget, then end up late because I’m scrambling to find it!
I would use the cell mate at work because I always seem to be looking for where I put it lasst!
I want that fridge thing! I need something like that. It’s so cool!
I would use it for my phone, in the house we want to buy the layout has the fridge sort of in the middle of the house so it’d be easily reached from anywhere
I would DEF use it for my camera! Ahh I want this so bad! I ALWAYS loise my camera…its a tragedy… :( lol
I would definitely use it for it’s intended purpose – I could use something to keep my cell phone off the kitchen table (and therefore the mess!)
I liked it on facebook!!
I wrote on the wall!!
I would use it to protect my iphone from my kitchen..i alwaysss get the screen dirty when i’m cooking!
Would definately use it for my phone when cooking and cleaning! Such a good idea!!!
I’d use it for my coupons, which are currently stacked haphazardly atop my fridge!!
omg i have never had a calzone before but they look so good. Plus Seinfeld has had me intrigued before (i’m a total nerd fan of Seinfeld… still)
I would use it for my cell phone to avoid covering it in food when I’m cooking! ;)
I would definitely use it for my phone. Like you said it’s a great way to get it off the counter so that it doesn’t get covered by ingredients! And I love that I can still see the screen to read recipes while cooking. It’s genius!
This is a great giveaway, Janetha! I would definitely use it for my iPod…I never know where to put that thing! :)
I would use it for my phone of course. And possibly my keys and grocery list. I’d end up filling that sucker up!
It would be so helpful to put my phone in it, I usually just lay my phone on the counter and it gets lost/dirty very easily!! Haha, that little gadget is pretty sweet.
K I entered! I would definitely use the gadget for my phone! but I might have to get another one, because it would be a GREAT place for coupons!
I LOVEE calzones! I have never made my own, though. I need to give them a try!
