Courtney December 8, 2010 at 3:14 pm

I would make vanilla bean ice cream–yes, even in winter, it’s my favorite!

Bree December 8, 2010 at 3:15 pm

I would put it in extra special smoothies on those mornings it’s too cold to get out of bed as an incentive.

Jess December 8, 2010 at 3:15 pm

I’d make cookies!

Graze With Me December 8, 2010 at 3:15 pm

I think this would actually be really good in some chia pudding! The vanilla gives it oomph and vanilla bean paste would be out of this world. ;)

ihearteggs December 8, 2010 at 3:15 pm

Teri [a foodie stays fit] December 8, 2010 at 3:15 pm

oooh! I need this! I would make creme brulee. Over and over and over again.

Nicole December 8, 2010 at 3:16 pm

There is nothing like vanilla. I add it to everything that I possibly can. I put it on my cereal, smoothies, and in baking. Especially with all the delicious treats I will be making this year for Christmas, it would be perfect.

Jessica December 8, 2010 at 3:17 pm

Smoothies, pancakes (my fave), oatmeal, and sugar cookies (because truly, a well baked sugar cookie just cannot be beat). Also, I might would use a drop or two in my organic, homemade sugar scrub for my skin. Smelling like vanilla bean paste after coming out of the shower, FTW!

Christina December 8, 2010 at 3:19 pm

Oh wow I’ve never seen vanilla bean paste before!! Looks yummy! I’d probably add it to my oats in the morning lol

Jessica December 8, 2010 at 3:22 pm

Definitely add it to my oats ….or just smell it as weird as it sounds….I LOVE Vanilla :) haha

Alex December 8, 2010 at 3:22 pm

One of my new years resolutions is to start making hot breakfast cereals with a variety of different grains rather than just oats and oat bran. I’m SURE this vanilla bean paste would make my experiment that much tastier!

Jordan P December 8, 2010 at 3:24 pm

I think this VB Paste would be perfect in some vanilla French toast for brunch in this FRIGID weather! That, and maybe a few christmas cookies.

eatingmachine December 8, 2010 at 3:24 pm

vanilla bean whipped cream!

April December 8, 2010 at 3:25 pm

I forgot to comment on your last post but I definitely want to find that vanilla bean paste! I am a huge vanilla bean person as well and it would be so great to have this in the pantry.

I have a list of 30 things to bake/cook during my 30th year (next year) and one huge challenge is french macaroons. I would love to do a vanilla bean macaroon with a fruity filling. Oh, mouth is salivating just thinking of the possibilities!

meg December 8, 2010 at 3:25 pm

brandisue2001 December 8, 2010 at 3:37 pm

Oh my, so many ways to use that yummy stuff. I recently made a Bobby Flay recipe for roasted brussel sprouts with vanilla bean-butter. I am so making it again soon and that bean paste looks perfect!

Leah December 8, 2010 at 3:39 pm

Abbie H December 8, 2010 at 3:39 pm

Vanilla protein shake!

Monica December 8, 2010 at 3:39 pm

I’d use this in homemade ice cream, a rich creamy vanilla ice cream, in the middle of winter. How yummy? Or in a cup of coffee/milk (half of each) and a little drip drop of the vanilla. Maybe in oats? The possibilities are endless.

Jae December 8, 2010 at 3:40 pm

I’d use it to make vanilla bean cupcakes :)

Paula December 8, 2010 at 3:40 pm

Oops Janetha, I commented and my cousin was logged into wordpress. Last comment was from me, not brandisue2001: (Oh my, so many ways to use that yummy stuff. I recently made a Bobby Flay recipe for roasted brussel sprouts with vanilla bean-butter. I am so making it again soon and that bean paste looks perfect!)

Whitney December 8, 2010 at 3:42 pm

Oats and cookie.
Man, good vanilla (and a sprinkle of salt) totally make a chocolate chip cookie. Yum.

melissadishes December 8, 2010 at 3:43 pm

I was drooling over the thought of this stuff when you mentioned it earlier ;-)

Hmmm, bet it would be a great addition to my oats or greek yogurt

Renée December 8, 2010 at 3:44 pm

I’d put it in oats and use it for my holiday baking :)

Heather (Where's the Beach) December 8, 2010 at 3:45 pm

Oh wow, I don’t even know where to begin. I adore vanilla. I imagine it is stronger than extract…but I have so much baking I do this time of year, it would be so nice to up the flavor level with this. Now, I must say, I love Melissadishes’ idea b/c one of my favorite things is vanilla stevia blended into my plain greek yogurt. So many choices here.

Jessie December 8, 2010 at 3:47 pm

Since I am fascinated with whoopie pies at the moment I think I would make them…maybe red velvet with cream cheese and vanilla bean butter cream?

AnAppleADay December 8, 2010 at 3:49 pm

Kristie December 8, 2010 at 3:59 pm

I don’t think I’ve ever even seen vanilla bean paste around here. YUM?! I would totally make the best batch of chocolate chip cookies ever. Possibly using your recipe cause I know you’ve got a winner on here ;)

Court December 8, 2010 at 4:05 pm
