long title, but that is what i am going to ramble about.. in a few minutes. first! usual business, photos of food, yadda yadda yadda.
first of all.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB!!!!!!!!!!!! if you don’t know deb, and don’t read her amazing blog, you are seriously missing out on one of the best things in life. deb is definitely one of the most amazing blog friends ever~ go wish deb a happy birthday! :)
ever since moving up the deadline for my secret bloggie valentine i have had a lot more people join in on the fun! that makes me smile. remember, if you would like to participate, email me your name, mailing address and blog address (if applicable) to janethabenson at gmail dot com. i am taking new participants until this friday, the 22nd. you will get a name & address from me this coming weekend regarding who to send your package to~ the budget is set at no more than $25 and you can mail anything under the sun! just not puppies.. i think we established that.
moving on!
this morning i was running late (again.. what else is new? any tips on how i can make myself wake up earlier?!) so i didn’t get the goods into the crock pot for crock pot wednesday. drat.
i managed to get to work only 11 minutes late and celebrated with some waffles for waffle wednesday!
meal 1: protein waffles @ 8:45 AM
woops! cooked these guys a tad too long! oh well, they were still delish. i used my protein waffle recipe and drizzled them with a bit of SF syrup.
i thought it would be fun to show you my waffle making station aka the kitchen at my office. it is nice to be able to make breakfast at work every day!!
come on in! it is nice because my work kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge, stove, oven and microwave.
as you can see, i’ve got my waffle iron set up on the stove and my magic bullet ready for action. that is what i use to make my waffle batter.
unfortunately my magic bullet blade has seen better days and no longer functions. somehow, the little rubber grippy things on the bottom of the blade attachment have worn down and do not connect properly to the base which means the blade does not turn. not so magic bullet.
not sure how that even happened.. but over time, it did. luckily my bullet came with a whipping blade and it works fine to make my protein waffle batter, but it won’t work for making smoothies that have ice and there is no way in hell i am lugging my vitamix to and from work, so this is the end of protein shakes at work.. for now. i am hoping to find the blade for sale separately…
anyway! back to the kitchen. this is where i make my morning coffee..
i cannot live without my contigo coffee mug.. it keeps my coffee hot all day long!
anyway, the waffles were delicious, the end.
around 11 AM i ran home and threw some chicken, celery, carrots, potatoes, onions, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, vegetable broth & spices into the crock pot and turned it on low in hopes dinner would be ready at 6:30!
i had a lunch date with emily the experimentarian this afternoon! we have been trying to meet up for weeks and i was so happy we finally were able to! i love bloggie meetups and if any ladies who live in or around the SLC would like to come next time, just holler!
we went to citrus grill. i usually get the cobb or the southwest wrap but i decided to get something new~ the smoked turkey on wheat which had hummus, sun dried tomato vinaigrette, cucumbers and haavarti. i nixed the cheese as per my jamaica challenge. do you know how sad that made me?! and today was even national cheese lover’s day! ahhh! the horror. it came with a side salad which actually was just spring mix + croutons and i didnt eat the croutons.. so.. spring mix. boring.
i may as well have went with the cheese since this thing came out all fattening and whatnot. i guess i overlooked the fact that it was grilled.. thus saturated in oil and/or butter~ not sure which. i sure wished i had asked for it to not be grilled. i honestly was expecting a light, fluffy sandwich to come out so i was a little disappointed. but, of COURSE i still ate it ;)
yeah. greasy city. but the hummus was baller as were the cucumbers.
emily is the cutest girl on the block! she got the greek salad with chicken. smart girl.
not only is she smart, she is sweet, too! she brought me a little gift :)
OMG! i have been dying to try this spicy peanut butter! and i remember seeing a bunch of bloggettes munching on her homemade trail mix so i was stoked to see a bag of my own. you better believe i will be taking this on the plane to jamaica! thanks em! i sure love you.
unfortunately lunch (which i ate around 12:30) did not keep me full for long. it was probably pretty low in protein, to be honest, but i managed to hold off on my snack until 3:15 PM…
meal 3: 1/2 whole wheat pita + laughing cow wedge + 2 slices turkey
kind of a boring snack! but at least i was able to celebrate national cheese lover’s day with the laughing cow. this clocked in at 25g of protein~ ah, just what i needed.
AHHH my bangs are so long! driving me bananas. but i have an appointment to get my hurr did tuesday.. so i think i can deal with it until then ;)
i had the urge to have something sweet so i decided to have a snack dessert in honor of national granola bar day.. yes folks, lots of national food holidays today!
i tried something new..
but since i already had my turkey pita i just had 1/3 of the bar.
i desperately need a new phone. mine is a pile of junk.
i really liked this flavor! no, it doesn’t top my favorite luna (toasted nuts & cranberry) but it was a nice change with a little chocolate kick.
today was a cardio+abs day according to my jamaica challenge (i am so behind on updating that page! sorry!)..
i decided to do a cardio routine based on my heart rate since my mom was nice enough to loan me her heart rate monitor watch (i lost mine…)
i decided to do jogging and running intervals. for the jogging intervals, i wanted my heart rate to be at 70% of my maximum heart rate and for the running intervals i wanted my heart rate to be at 85% of my maximum heart rate.
to figure out what your maximum heart rate is, you take 220 and subtract your AGE (i am 26) and that number is you MAX HEART RATE.. so mine is 194. obviously, my heart rate can go higher than 194, but this is the number i use for the rest of the calculating.
so, i said for the jogging intervals i wanted to be at 70% of my max..
194 x 70% = 135.8 BPM (beats per minute)
and the running intervals i wanted to be at 85% of my max…
194 x 85% = 164.9 BPM
with these numbers in mind, i did the following routine. i warmed up and cooled down for 5 minutes each, and in between i did seven five-minute intervals with 2.5 minutes jogging and 2.5 minutes running. i changed the incline with each interval to keep it interesting. i hope i haven’t lost you yet!
to make things easier, the treadmill i ran on did display my heart rate on the screen right next to the time. this way i didn’t have to keep checking my watch.
i would use the first 30 seconds of the jogging part to get my heart rate DOWN to the 135 BPM range. then i would jog for 2 minutes with my heart rate hovering between 135 and 140. for the running, i would use the first 30 seconds to get my heart rate UP to the 165 range and then run fast and hard enough to hover between 160-170 BPM for the two minutes remaining.
when i put the speeds on the table, you need to understand that within that 2.5 minute stretch, my speed varied to make sure my heart rate stayed at where i wanted it to be. sometimes i would have to slow the jogging down and other times i would have to speed the running up to fall into the heart rate category i was aiming for. sooo under the “speed” column, it will say a range of speeds.. this is the speed range i was at throughout the 2.5 minutes.
have i lost you yet?
here is the table:
| minute # | intensity (beats per minute) | incline | speed |
| 0-5 | warm up @ 120 BPM | 0.0 | 3.5 to 5.0 mph |
| 5-7.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 1.0 | 5.5 mph |
| 7.5-10 | running | 1.0 | 7.0 mph |
| 10-12.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 1.5 | 5.5 mph |
| 12.5-15 | running | 1.5 | 7.5 to 8.0 mph |
| 15-17.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 2.0 | 5.0 mph |
| 17.5-20 | running | 2.0 | 7.5 to 8.5 mph |
| 20-22.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 2.5 | 4.5 to 5.5 mph |
| 22.5-25 | running | 2.5 | 7.0 to 8.5 mph |
| 25-27.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 2.0 | 4.0 to 5.5 mph |
| 27.5-30 | running | 2.0 | 7.0 to 8.5 mph |
| 30-32.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 1.5 | 4.5 to 5.5 mph |
| 32.5-35 | running | 1.5 | 7.5 to 8.5 mph |
| 35-37.5 | jogging @ 135 BPM | 1.0 | 4.0 to 5.5 mph |
| 37.5-40 | running | 1.0 | 7.5 to 9.0 mph! |
| 40-45 | cool down @ 120 BPM | 0.0 | 3.5 mph to 5.0 mph |
the end. i ended up going 4.36 miles. my max HR was 173 and my average HR was 141. usually, when i do 20 minute HIIT, my average heart rate is around 158. this average was significantly lower because i lowered my jogging heart rate to 70% of my max. when i do 20 minute HIIT, i like to keep my heart rate at 80% or above the whole time.
SO.. that is how i worked out according to my heart rate. this was a lot of fun and i think i will be doing this again next time~ perhaps i will try to up my jogging HR to 75% and my running HR to 90%. we will see if i can handle that!
i finished up with 15 minutes of ab work:
- 2 minutes stability ball crunches w/ 5# plate behind head
- 2 minutes of oblique ball crunches w/ 5# plate on shoulder (1 min each side)
- 2 minutes lower ab crunches on decline bench (i didnt go all the way up like the dude in the link. i just crunched up a tiny bit so it targeted my lower abs. i couldn’t find a link that demonstrated this, i will have to do a moves page on it!)
- 1 minute twists on decline bench holding 10# plate
- 1 minute jackknifes
- 1 minute crab abs (thanks naomi!)
- 1 minute ball crunches with a twist
- 2 minutes floor crunches
- 1 minute mountain climbers
- 1 minute side planks (30 seconds each side)
- 1 minute plank
the end! great workout today :)
well.. i came home to my crock pot meal~
looks amazing, right?
well.. sigh. the veggies were still SUPER crispy. not enough time in the slow cooker! fail.
luckily momma b gave me a tip to throw it into a pot and boil it. marshall was sad about the time it was taking..
if you have good eyes you can see randy dog’s reflection in the oven ;)
BUT.. it ended up turning out!
meal 4: chicken and veggie concoction made up by janetha b @ 7:00 PM
goodness.
gracious.
so good!!! i had a slice of april’s low carb sweet bread with my dinner.
and now it is almost time for my dessert :) meal five is going to be deb’s hot chocolate smoothie and i had already planned this~ without knowing it was her birthday! how appropriate! i will have to show it to you tomorrow.. but here is deb’s photo of the deliciousnessssss:
i die.
ok, this is long enough! see you guys tomorrow!
Qs~
1. what is your work/kitchen situation like? do you have a full kitchen like me or maybe a few things like a microwave and a toaster? or do you have to pack a lunch and rely on cooler bags? or do you not even have to go to work and deal with any of this nonsense? my answer can be seen above. i feel pretty lucky to have this at my disposal.
2. do you pay attention to your heart rate when you work out? do you use a heart rate monitor? thoughts? discuss. i would love to hear your two cents on the heart rate issue!

I think your hair is so cute! I LOVE the bangs. It is such a pretty color.
Love your cardio/heart rate part. So many people just do leisurly cardio and wonder why they don’t see results! I tend to keep my heart rate between 150-180. I have a full kitchen, but my dream is to have a HUGE one! :)
oh MAN i thought i was gona be the first one to comment and i got super excited! your kitchen looks so cozy and homey.. i love it! THE HEAT IS ON PB.. i gota try it! you GOTA let me know how it is! kina scared..spicy PB sounds..interesting?! never pay attention to heart rate? interesting, tho!
Woah! Your work kitchen is nice! That PB sounds like something I would LOVE!
I was wondering how you made all that delish food at work!! SO jealous! I love the Janetha+pita photo, adorable. My work situation sucks…I dont have a refridgerator, microwaves are sporadic, and usually I eat while standing/doing something else…hence why I dont usually blog my lunches! My best bet is a non-messy sandwich (usually PB&J), a bar, and baby carrots throughout the day. Im lucky if I can sit to eat an apple!
Mm emilys trail mix looks great and I really wanna try the heat is on! Can’t wait to hear what you thinkof it!
I wish I had a HR monitor! I thought of buying a Garmin that measures HR too. But I just got a nike sport watch thing to measure pace and distance so I hate to buy another running watch that I can’t afford. Maybe a Polar would be cheaper just for Heartrate?
I have a HR monitor, mine’s a timex though and I often wonder how accurate it is– especially the days when my HR gets up to 240- not sure that actually happens, I think I would feel it, which I don’t!
A Garmin 305 is currently on my wish list/ marathon training dream tool!
Citrus Grill is RIGHT by my house! I live right above Eastwood Elementary, by the 3300 exit. Small world!!!
crock pot concoctions are the best.
Haha yep you lost me!! You used to just glide past me but you’re starting to FLY by! I’m so proud of all the learning you’re doing AND sharing with all of us!
Glad your crock pot dish turned out so yummy. My chicken was a little dry.
I don’t cook @ work and I no longer have a heart rate watch :(
Xoxo love you Neef!!
I LOVE those travel coffee mugs!! My roommate had one and I was obsessed so when I found a 2-pack at Costco, I HAD to purchase. Best ones ever!
sweet work kitchen and hoco smoothie!!
I pay close attention to my HR! Especially if I my workout is based on a calorie goal. But otherwise I don’t really wear my Polar at all…
I haven’t paid attention to my heart rate in years. Personally, l don’t find it necessary. I know when I’m giving it my all and kicking azz and when I’m not. Not too mention I have enough things to obsess on already! If I was training for something specifically I might consider getting new batteries in mine.
heart rate? what’s that? Seriously. No clue. If i can’t talk or think straight, I back off :)
contigo coffee mug. THANK YOU for mentioning this!!!!! I knew a few ladies in the b’sphere have mentioned their mugs before and i couldnt remember who, or what they used. I should have known my coffee guru has a total go-to mug. I am off to check this out.
I know this is crazy…but…sometimes i nuke a mug full of lukewarm-ish or barely warm leftover half pot kind of coffee in my current on the go mug, which is all plastic, so i can nuke it. The only drawback of the contigo looks like it’s all metal so coffeee needs to be hot going in. Ok sorry to ramble but i think i need this now :)
glad your crockpot concoction worked out in the end!
your work kitchen is sooo nice! you are a lucky girl! at my school, we just have a microwave and a dish cupboard in the teachers’ room. there’s also a coffee pot, which is random, because actual beans are sooo expensive here. i don’t think it’s ever been used.
i pay attention to my hr, but it’s really difficult for me to do hr zone workouts. i think mine might be a little higher than normal? i have to go suuuuuper slow to keep it down below 75% and i always want to go faster!
I’m so scared my MB blade is gonna wear down. I love how it comes with a jillion cups but only 2 blades.
Yay looks like we had the same thoughts on pud! My work situation is a big thumbs down we don’t even have a kettle or seating area! I take pack lunch everyday which makes sure I get healthy foods unlike my co-workers they’re all macy d’s lovers!
I have a heart rate monitor but need to get it fixed! But yes I use it when its working! x x
So jealous of your work kitchen! We only have a fridge and microwave (plus a stove that doesn’t work. Boooh!). But hey I should stay positive.. At least it’s something ;).
I don’t have a heart rate monitor. I always make my workouts challenging without making me feel too exhausted (as in “I will fall off the elliptical any minute now!”).
Hello!
So many great meals and moves in this post, oh my goodness. I really want to try “The Heat is ON” peanut butter!
I never really pay attention to my heart rate when working out, but want to now!
What is your e-mail so I can join the secret bloggie valentine?
Okay, I am super jealous of your office kitchen. WOW, that is bigger than my kitchen at home! Lucky girl.
OMG, I had no idea you didn’t have this flavor of PB! I know a store around me that sells this!!! Okay, this is perfect, I can’t find mighty maple and you can’t find the heat is on, so we are set for life girl! Let me know when you need more! :)
Love you to my dear friend. :)
LOVE your kitchen at work!! since I work about 3times a week at 5am, yes I bring and make breakfast at work too! I have a BIG fridge taht is nearly always empty and microwave so i always make my oats and keep lots of greek yogurt and PB in the fridge, so far no one has touched anything! where I work in the bulding has a secret fridge not the ones that are on every floor so like I said, it is mostly filled with my goods! LOL
thanks for the shout out, love! glad you liked the crab abs!! they’re a great move aren’t they!?
i always since getting my HRM pay attention to my heart rate. i am 23 so 220-23 =197 which is my max, which I rarely get to but certain times I have gotten to 180 in spin class. I try to keep it between 140-165 while cardio exercising. HR is so important to pay attention to esp if you are trying to lose weight or work in certain ‘zones’ you just inspired me to do a little post abotu this!
sorry the sandwich wasn’t the healthiest thing on teh planet, but wowwwza it looked good!! next time you can ask them to nix the butter or just follow the lovely ms holly :)
LOVE YOU!
SO lucky to have such an awesome kitchen at work! So awesome she brought you some Heat is On…you’ll love it :)
PS- My Blackberry curve is a piece of crap, too. I think they all are, but it doesn’t mean people are any less addicted, does it?
Oh my goodness you have such a lush work kitchen! We have one sad little toaster and a microwave that takes about 20 minutes to warm up anything. So sad. Um and Emily’s trail mix? Deliciousness!!
Same thing happened to my magic bullet. It immediately wore out its welcome in my kitchen and in my home. I was really not pleased.
That looks like an awesome cardio workout! I’ll have to incorporate something like that sometime. And I’m lucky that my ‘job’ is at home being a mommy. So it makes mealtime very easy. Yet I still don’t do anything fancy…I’m not good at being creative with meals. LOL
I’m jealous of your work kitchen!! I do not work now =( because I moved up here for school, but when I did work all we had was a tiny fridge and a micro that took 6 minutes to warm (WARM, not heat) soup!
Now I will probably be taking lunch with me, as I get out of school at 1, and plan on taking lotttts of yoga classes in my spare time =)
And I try to follow my HR with my HRM during workouts. I know what my zone should be (65-90% of your max, Max is 200-your age) so I try to stick around there for maximum cardio effects. But that is just my take!
xo
K
So jealous of your work kitchen! We have NOTHING like that here at my work. A dirty break room with a mini fridge (that smells), a filthy microwave and a toaster oven that noone uses.
I love crock pot meals, but I can never seem to find a good recipe that works out. I leave the house at 6 and we don’t eat until about 7. That’s a LONG time to cook something, it always seems to burn or get too tough. :(
I can’t wait till you review that spicy pb, I can’t seem to find it anywhere!
Right now I only work part time, but it’s at a bakery, so I have a whole lot of kitchen appliances at my disposal :)
I use my HRM all the time. It makes me aware and I don’t overdo it or under do it!
The heat is on is amazing. I use it to make peanut sauces!
Such a big post! Your waffle looks great, I want a waffle maker so bad. I have no clue what my HR is, sometimes I grab the handles on a treadmill, but I don’t really do the math to know what the numbers mean.
Work at school is normally a packed cooler, I do have access to a mini fridge, microwave and an electric tea kettle though. Work at respite is at my client’s house, so I have full kitchen access. BUT I am in charge of a three and four year old, so I have to be super speedy in the kitchen.
I think my HR monitor is busted…it only works half the time so I get frustrated with it, so I haven’t used it in months. I think I fixate on the calorie burn too much anyways when I use it, so it’s probably for the best.
Let’s see…on my floor at work we have 2 mini fridges and two really crappy microwaves. Oh and a hot-water thingy for tea. If I really wanted to I could use the kitchen on the first floor where they have an oven and stuff like that, but most of the time I make do with the microwave. It would SUCK not to have a fridge!
Omg, I love waffles! And those turkey muffins look so delicious. All the wonderful pictures on here make my mouth water.
AHHHHH THAT SMOOTHIE IN A BOWL LOOKS FAB! and i am soooo jealous of your work kitchen! i totes wish i had something like that. i don’t even really have a break room :(
yay for easy crockpot meals, yummy lunches with fabulous people (LOVE miss emily!) and twerkin’ it at the gym. i don’t have a heart rate monitor but i always check mine on machines, although i don’t really know how accurate that is.
love you girl…have a fab day xoxox :)
I do cardio based on my HR too! But usually it’s more like, “Uh oh. Only 150…pick it up slow poke.” or “Eek 195…must…catch….breath.” lol
I am SOOOOO jealous you made that sweet bread! I need wheat bran so I can make it ASAP.
1) All we have is a microwave and a dishwasher. Boo.
2) Oh…see above :)
That is a KICK ASS office kitchen! In all the offices I have worked in, I was lucky to even have a microwave + fridge!
I saw your status update on facebook about the soup and was wondering how it turned out! I’m glad it turned out in the end! :)
I have never done cardio based on HR. I check it occasionally to see how I’m doing, but I don’t really know what I’m checking for. I just do it because the cool kids do it ;)
You and Emily are so cute!!
I’ve been doing cardio based on my heart rate lately too! I think we are becoming long lost twins or something. And I did abs yesterday too!!
I work as a sub for all sorts of schools so my kitchen situation is always different. I pack a lunch!
As for the heart rate situation, I JUST got a HRM for Christmas and have been playing around with it trying it figure it all out. So far, so good! I try to keep my heart rate at 160ish during jogs and runs. But I haven’t researched enough to know what it’s really supposed to be at. I’ll have to look into it. So I’m glad you posted about it!
I LURVE that peanut butter – it’s killer on oats! I have made my jar last a long time.
We only have a micro and dishwasher at work. We also have a toaster oven but I never toast stuff – seems like things go from cold to burnt.
I’m gonna have to break out the crockpot! That looks so yum!
Aw Emily is such a sweetheart! I’m glad you guys were able to meet up for lunch! I expect a THOROUGH review of that PB.
1. My place of employment doesn’t have a kitchen. I usually bring snacks that don’t need a kitchen.
2. I don’t have a HRM so I never check my heart rate!
hey! i’m glad you made this post about heart rates because i have a question for you :). so i have a HRM and i try to keep my heart rate between 170-180, and sometimes 180-190, bpm when i’m doing cardio. i’m 19. do you think this is too high? i feel like i won’t burn enough calories if my HR isn’t that high. i would appreciate your opinion! thankssss :)
man, i am so jealous of that kitchen. in our copier room, we have a small (often icky) microwave, a mini fridge, and a busted slotted toaster. that’s it! i am just thankful that we have at least that…dont know what i would do if i couldn’t bring lunch every day!!!
i feel you on the bangs…mine are driving me nuts right now. i cut them myself whenever they start stabbing me in the eye which is happening today. SIGH. looks like a trim session is in store for tonite. i love when they are cut but detest cutting them HAHA.
Sorry about the greasy sando. I hate when that happens! I like that Luna flava a lot also.
Thanks for clueing me in to all the food holidays I unknowingly celebrated yesterday :)
We have two microwaves and a toaster oven and a big fridge, but no stove. I wish we did though, I would get after it!
Have a good afternoon/night girl. Tomorrow’s Friday!
The Kitchen Rocks at your work!! YOu can cook up some thre course meals in there girl!!!
The pic of you and the pita is priceless, love it, you are too cute girl!!!
Ahhhhhhhh damn PB & Co Peanutbutter is the bomb!!! I never tried that one, I never saw it, I need to get some of that and I am going to try the Dark Choc Dreams!!!
Have a great night!!!
I want: a crockpot, your work kitchen, and your lovely hair! Beauty.
Umm we have a full fridge/freezer, a microwave, kettle (my addition of course), and toaster oven – so pretty good! But no oven. That would be baller!
Heart rate = not on my radar!
That bowl of chocolate love looks INCREDIBLE! Love you! xx
I am slightly obsessed with my HRM. I wear it for every run, to keep track of how hard I am working and adjust my speed accordingly. Totally worth the investment!
Bahaha I just got your e-mail about yapple sauce while reading this post!!! Too. Spooky.
Anyways, on to related things. I am SO jealous of your work kitchen. It’s nicer than the one I have at home!!
1. Right now we just have a little mini fridge and microwave in the photocopy room. I’m at least right next door to the university’s cafeteria that has some pretty good food choices.
2. I don’t necessarily train based on my heart rate, but it’s something I always watch when I work out. I’m one of those people who naturally pushes less than I should, so the monitor keeps me in check. Sometimes I’ll push a little harder to get to a max, or see how long I can hold a certain bpm. That’s also part of the reason why I sometimes refer to calories burned in a workout, because to me that’s related to how hard I was pushing my ticker in a workout.
hey girl! I got that pb and co the heat is on too!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact we are using it tonight! Yum! Also your crockpot concoction loooks yummy.
:)
I like the S’mores luna bars, but I’ve never tried the nuts & cranberry one – bet I would like it!
I love to do crock pot meals – glad yours turned out alright in the end!
Hey there-
Someone might have mentioned this but I broke my Blender one time by doing the same thing and I was able to go on amazon and order a new part for less than $5 which is much cheaper than buying a new one. Good luck!
xo
JOcelyn
hehe you are too cute with your waffle rant…love it!! mmmmm as always your meals look delish! now I need to run to the kitchen to make myself a smoothie in a bowl…best thing EVER!!! have a great friday! xoxo!
Unfortunately I dont really pay too much attention to heart rate because I have yet to buy a fancy garmin heart rate monitor. I really want the FR60. One day, I’m just going to buy it!
So I’ve been meaning to do this metabolic testing from http://www.newleaffitness.com/. They offer it really cheap at my school, only $99 for students whereas other gyms and nutritional offices have it for $200+ Once I do find my metabolic and VO2 max, I’m going to be more conscious of my heart rate because I do want to do the most efficient workout instead of working unnecessarily hard for the same (or even less) results.
I like your bangs! They’re so cute, like long flowly side swept bangs. So pretty. Your hair in general is really pretty.
Longest comment ever…but you know how I am with lengthy writing, lol :)
One more thing…soooo jealous of your work kitchen. It’s so legit, like a FULL kitchen. Lucky girl!
