what a terrific weekend! we recently saw “precious.” it was intensely good.

Averie (LoveVeggiesAndYoga) December 7, 2009 at 12:17 am

I hate to admit this but….I have not seen a movie since mid 2006. You read that right. I was pregnant then and could watch a movie. Now, for the past 3 yrs, taking care of a newborn and now toddler…there is just not 2-3 solid hours to sit down & watch a movie. LET ALONE in a movie theater. ha! So no.

Your pics with your beasties rock!
The crackers on the hostess’ eyes are priceless. LOL!

xoxo

April December 7, 2009 at 1:49 am

Tina December 7, 2009 at 5:19 am

Oh, I see. Dexter wasn’t really dexter :P…

What’s the point of having George Clooney in a Movie if you can’t see his gorgeous face? (I’m all for animation, but come one :P)

My weekend was so so and the last great movie I’ve seen was The last Samurai (I watched it for the 3rd time last week – a favourite)

I’m so happy you had such a great time :D
Tis the season to be jolly after all ;)

Love you!

I hear that Brothers is quite depressing. Not sure if I will run out to see it anytime soon, espeically around Christmas. Bring on Elf this time of year, right? :)

Enjoy your Monday hun.

Emily (The Experimentarian) December 7, 2009 at 5:54 am

Holy smokes–speed poster :) I cannot believe you went snowboarding when it was that cold outside. I literally only left the house for church yesterday and then parked myself in front of my cookie machine oven to stay warm. Glad you had so much fun this weekend :) xoxo

Abby December 7, 2009 at 6:24 am

I think my favorite was No. 10, and other than putting ridiculous hats on my mom’s pets and posting pictures, my weekend was decidedly unexciting :) However, glad you got your snow! Now I’ll send some of ours your way…

Naomi(onefitfoodie) December 7, 2009 at 6:36 am

I watched Pelham 123 this weekend—I enjoyed it! Denzel is always great and John Travolta plays a good crazy bad guy!

Amanda (Two Boos Who Eat) December 7, 2009 at 10:00 am

I want to see The Fantastic Mr. Fox so bad! I love Wes Anderson.

Looks like you had a great weekend. I wish something like the festival of trees existed here. I love Christmas things like that!

Jenny December 7, 2009 at 10:39 am

AH! Picture of “snowflakes on dogs’ heads” might be my favorite of all time. HOW ADORABLE!?!?!?

Oh wait…you and Marshall and the dogs. Maybe that’s my fave. And I’m sups jealous ;)

I had a good weekend because I met with fabulous bloggers in the city! And ate vegan peanut butter bomb cake.

Hmm, no good movies. Do you recommend Brothers? Cuz I really want to see it! Just need to know if it’s worth the $$.

Hope the beginning of your week is going well! Love you bunches!

Erin December 7, 2009 at 12:57 pm

Love your list! It’s so kickass that you snowboard, fyi.

Great weekend!

Am in the middle of watching Once Upon a Time in America. Older film starring DeNiro about the Jewish mafia in Brooklyn.

RhodeyGirlTests December 7, 2009 at 1:15 pm

Ha! We both had amazing weekends AND took the weekend off from the internet. I wish I could say I went to ANY mountain, instead I just looked at snow and felt happy. Not a bad second.

holly December 7, 2009 at 1:24 pm

ummm all these 22 reasons are also 22 reasons i love you. all hail pumpkin molasses cookies, no technology and SNOWBOARDING…hmmm…maybe i should check flights to utah. what are you doing over new years? :)

Jenn N. December 7, 2009 at 2:25 pm

I had a good weekend because I SCORED at the Tulle sample sale.

I’m behind on movies. Just saw Where the Wild things are.

loserforlife December 7, 2009 at 2:35 pm

You always have such a good time! Love this and it all started with hummus… :)

hayleycepeda December 7, 2009 at 2:37 pm

Do you have a link to the sunbutter hummus? That looks scrumptious..

I love this post! So much fun – looks as though you always have a great time with your friends…that’s awesome. :) The snow looks beautiful! WOOHOO for snowboarding!! We might get snow but not enough to go skiing or snowboarding on.

I had an awesome weekend because we got our tree, decorated our tree, I Jazzercised in a parade, and went roller skating in a rink for the first time ever and could’ve stayed there all night. :)

janetha December 7, 2009 at 2:38 pm

The highlight of our weekend was seeing the holiday lights with the toddler on Friday.

Sweet Cheeks December 7, 2009 at 5:30 pm

Gosh, can you just make sure you have at least 1 pic of your cute pups in…how bout, EVERY post? I LOVE them! :D

I heard that movie wasn’t very good! :/ glad you still had a wonderful weekend though!

Deb (SmoothieGirlEatsToo) December 7, 2009 at 6:07 pm

I’m with Abby- Doggies with snowflakes does it for me!

And 15 minute posting- yessss! That has happened in my little bloggie, uh never.

Marshall sitting on santa’s lap cracks me up. I would soooo photoshop you out of it, so that it’s just him and santa, make about 100 copies- all wallet sized and hand it out at your next humongous christmas parties when you know all his best dudes will be there-yesssss! Muuhhhhahahahahah

Weekend good: went from 62 degrees where I was freeeezing to -17 degrees where it is so stunningly gorgeous that I don’t even care that I’m freezing! :-)

Amanda, another priorfatgirl December 7, 2009 at 6:29 pm

aaahhh!! dexter! i’m a few episodes behind but OMG i love it.

i had a great weekend because i, too, ate a lot of chips and salsa :) oh how i love chips and salsa. and although i only wanted to lie around with my cats on sunday, i got in a 60+ minute workout.

i saw “up in the air” and reeeeaaalllyy liked it. you should see it, too. have a great day!

jenngirl December 7, 2009 at 7:36 pm

Definitely a ton of reasons to love your weekend! That party with friends looks extra fun :)

1. I had a great weekend because not only did I study for my exams, but also I got to spend a bit of time Saturday night at my friend’s “feliz navidad fiesta”!

2. Does New Moon count, because, yea that’s the only movie I’m thinking of right now :)

Jenna December 7, 2009 at 8:38 pm
