the local spotlight.

in local spotlight

i live in utah. no news there. i realize the majority of you guys don’t live in utah.

however, i love finding fellow utah blogs because it’s so fun to read about places—namely restaurants and grocery stores–that i can actually go to without hopping on a plane.  there is something exciting about reading a blog written by someone that lives in your same area.. wouldn’t you agree?

so, i have been toying around with the idea of featuring local utah bloggers for a long time, and today is the day that the local spotlight feature begins! i will periodically feature local utah bloggers and include a snippet about them.  if you don’t live in utah, don’t click away just yet. this is something everyone can benefit from! after all, they may be utah bloggers, but you don’t have to be a utah reader to enjoy their blog. check them out.. you just might find a new blog you love.

I would love to find some local-ish bloggers. Believe it or not, rural Nova Scotia isn’t a blogging hotbed! Yeah, I know, I was shocked too. I regret that I didn’t get to know any other bloggers while I lived in Toronto.

Yolie @ Practising Wellness October 9, 2011 at 10:41 am

You’re right, I love reading blogs that are from ENgland, because so many I read are in the USA and I cannot get most of the foods or visit most of the restaurants they feature – although I still LOVE reading them! :-) xyx

This is a great idea! I just found that you commented on my blog (still learning this whole blogging thing!) about if I know Joan E. Mann. I know who she is b/c we both went to the UofU at the same time. She was younger then me though! How do you know her?

I live in Utah & recently starting reading your blog. I love it! Where do you buy your Trader Joes stuff? Vegas? I have never been to Trader Joe’s but Jessica@ How Sweet It Is makes me super jealous we don’t have a Trader Joes.
