hello, friends!
when one of my siblings has a birthday, i give them a magazine subscription. magazine subscriptions make a great gift. they keep on giving for a whole year! it is like the recipient gets another birthday present in the mail from you every month.
my sister recently had a birthday and so today i hopped online to order her subscription.
i decided to get her a subscription to real simple.
real simple is one of my favorite magazines. i have a subscription myself, in fact. it is chock full of information about food, decorating, household tips, fashion and other fun articles & advice.
much to my surprise, i had an email in my inbox today advertising two for the price of one on real simple subscriptions.
what?!?! that is impeccable timing! (side note: i love the word “impeccable”)
i knew i was ordering a subscription for my sister already, so that gave me a free subscription! since i already have one of my own, i had to decide who to give it to.
i pondered, pondered, pondered.. no other birthdays on the horizon. not sure momma b. would be into the magazine, she’s more into oxygen mag ;) (although, mom, if you would like a subscription to real simple, i would happily buy you one.)
then it hit me: i should give the subscription to one of my readers! obviously. i love you guys. it’s to bad i only have one to give away, as i would love to give each and every one of you a gift. what a shame.

I love my life because of two little guys, and 1 big guy – Sebastian, my 3 year old who is obsessed with dinosaurs, Donovan, my 2 year old who is obsessed with bugging the crap out of his big brother, and the hubs, who after 9 1/2 years is still obsessed with my ghetto bootay! :)

I love my life because I am finally pregnant after trying and trying, and suffering through a miscarriage. My husband is my “soul mate” (cheesy, I know), and I have a wonderful supportive family, in-laws included!
Why I love my life – ooh! Great question. And the answer…I have an amazing husband who is willing to take spin classes with me and lets me do crazy things like getting us both a membership to a rock climbing gym and getting equipment so we can be “serious” rock climbers. And I have so many neat things to look forward to: Foodbuzz Festival, being half-way done with law school, more rock climbing, the holidays, and exciting things this spring/summer.
I love my life because I have been blessed with the best friends and family anyone could ever ask for. They have truly made me a better person with each day and without them I don’t know what I’d do. They support me through the lows and make my highs the highest parts of my life :)

Why do I love my life?
Man, this question is a tough one, but my answer came to me rather quickly: because I can make a difference. I can touch other people’s lives, make them better, make them happier, and that is how I chose to live. It makes me happy, makes me enjoy being alive.
My dogs are another top one. Without them, I wouldn’t want to help people. They give me the motivation I need to be selfless, because they do not understand selfishness and it shows. Lame, yes, but whatever it takes, right?
I love my life because, I have the best family, friends, and fiance anyone could ask for. I have a job that I love and coworkers I enjoy seeing everyday. I am truly blessed for all the wonderful people in my life.
LOVE real simple. I love my life because I have a rediculously awesome family and friends, and I even love my job! I love that I was gifted with the ability to be creative and make drawings and paintings other people actually like :)
I love my life because I can recognize the wonderful family God has made for me. From my fantastic husband to my 4-year old son and 2-year old daughter. I love that I can recognize that this is a great gift to be cherished – even on the days that I want to pull my hair out because they are driving me batty!
Great idea! I love my life because I have strong “roots to grow and wings to soar”. I have a great family and friends that have given me so many opportunities to grow. Whenever I get a narrow perspective in a situation and think things really suck, I sit back and think–look at what you still have! It’s priceless!
