in meals,moves

Q: did your fiance bring you coffee this morning?

A: yes. yes he did! and i am not gonna lie, i like the term “boyf” better than “fiance” or even “hubs”.. as far as how they sound. but i think i will learn to love the new term ;)

Q: what did you have for breakfast?

A: peanut butter chocolate cheesecake greek yogurt+deep chocolate vita+mighty maple

all. mixed. up.

Q: were you floored by the incredible response you got on your last post?

A: YES! yes yes yes. you guys are AWESOME! thank you so, so much for your input and advice about planning a wedding. thank you for giving me some awesome Qs for my FAQ page, and thank you for making me drool with your favorite crepe combos ;)

Q:  are you back to doing BFL style eating or are you still doing the Jamaican-me-bikini-ready diet? (from hayley)

A: i am back to BFL style eating! i have re-introduced rice, pasta, potatoes, CEREAL and eating starchy carbs past meal 3. i still eat 5 clean meals a day with one day off a week.

Q: did you eat ice cream cake before lunch today?

A: you bet your ass i did! it was lindsay, my friend slash co-worker’s birthday today. i don’t always eat the birthday cake, but i cannot pass up ice cream cake. cannot.

i ate all of the ice cream part, none of the cake or frosting part.

Q: did you get lindsay a birthday gift?

A: of course!

KOMBUCHA! we share a love for the stuff :)

the office also got her a gift certificate to get a massage. while i wanted to keep it for myself, i figured i better let the birthday girl have it. she’s the cutest ever:

Q: how are you getting your body fat tested? (from lara)

A: i get my body fat tested in a BodPod, which is a capsule that you sit in and it measures the air displacement. i will be sure to document the process when we get it done here in the next few days.. i need to make an appointment. it is a really awesome process and actually is super accurate.

Q: Hey, you mentioned a while ago you were going to be doing an interview that the girl who won a BFL Challenge? Is that still on…I’d love to see it! (from lisa)

A: yes! that is still on. jamaica and the engagement brought on a whirlwind of stuff, but i am still planning to interview emily alvers, the 2008 body for life grand champ. stay tuned!

Q:  7-17-10… 7+10=17, right? (from susan)

A: right! so that should clear up any wondering of why i like the date 7-17-10 for my wedding. good job to those of you who got it!

Q: did you have the same thing for lunch today as you did yesterday?

A: you bet i did! minus the lettuce. eaten at my desk.

flat out, classic sabra, smoked turkey and tillamook cheddar.. heated in the microwave for 1 minute.IMG_7022

Q: did you have your first caterer appointment today after work?

A: yep. i did. and there is a lot to think about. i am overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to make sure i have enough food but not too much. eep! but at least i know what i want the menu to be like. i am doing a vast array of different hors d’oeuvres and then cake+vanilla bean ice cream, plus marshall’s tiramisu groom’s cake.

Q: do you know where you’re getting married? (from cathy)

A: yes! yes i do. it will actually be held at a tropical/exotic plant store~ they have a HUGE greenhouse and gorgeous garden area outside with a koi pond and gazebo.  the best part? no need to buy flowers. i will be able to use all of their plants/flowers/cacti/etc as decor. score. more deets on that (with photos!) later.

Q: what did you eat after your appointment and before your workout?

A: salad with cottage cheese.

Q:  how was your workout today?

Ice cream over cake definitely!

My favorite flake cereal right now is Nature’s Path Mesa Sunrise Cereal, so good!

Lucky lady ;) I love all the Q+A hehe. I ALSO love the ice cream cake! Yumyumyum and seriously, peanut butter on anything makes the world a better place lol. By the way, Matilda says hellooooooo :D

1. Ice cream! I’m picky when it comes to cake, but I’m more easily won over with ice cream :D

2. Hm.. that’s a good question. My favorite cereal isn’t a flake cereal BUT I think I would like a flake cereal with cinnamon and raisins :)

ah, right on — fiance def. doesn’t roll off the tongue. Just shorten it to “fee-ons”. Oh, I like the sound of that.

how did you know I was wondering if you ate ice cream before lunch today?! ;)

love you, pie!

Jenny February 24, 2010 at 6:05 pm

p.s. another question for you — did you know I have a legit girl crush on you?

Errign February 24, 2010 at 6:20 pm

I love ice cream cake – but only the way my grandma makes it – Angel Food Cake (bundt pan) hollowed and fill with ice cream and “frosted” with Cool Whip – YUM.

Your pb & j yogurt cup looks so, so, so divine!

Michelle February 24, 2010 at 6:35 pm

Ooohh ice cream for sure!! I enjoy Optimum Blueberry if that counts! :)

caronae February 24, 2010 at 7:31 pm

I cannot describe to you how delicious that brekkie looks all mixed up. I am more of an ice cream person, but will never pass up on ice cream. And getting married in a flower center is such a brilliant/beautiful plan!

Whole Body Love February 24, 2010 at 8:41 pm

I’m a frosting person…I usually don’t partake but if I do I eat the frosting and leave the cake!! Just the opposite of the average “healthy” chick ;)

RunToFinish February 25, 2010 at 7:29 am

awww really jealous you get to do the bodpod, I want to so bad!

Megan (The Runner's Kitchen) February 25, 2010 at 12:01 pm

Dang girl, all of your eats look SO good! I love the greek yogurt + jam + nut buter combo. Whoever invented that is genius!

I am a cake girl!!

And Nature’s Path Heritage Flakes are my flake cereal of choice :-)

Michelle February 25, 2010 at 11:38 pm

Cake AND ice cream together! But ice cream would be my first choice. I had BR cake last week for my 4yo’s b-day and guess who had the most? It started innocently enough just skimming the outside of the frosting until the square cake got smaller and smaller and um, wait, there’s just a square inch left! lol Enjoyed every bite!

Lara (Thinspired) February 26, 2010 at 12:28 am

Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to hear more about the wedding location! Awesome!

Really, is there anything more comforting than your favorite mug? Mine is on a boat to the US and I miss it SO MUCH!

1. Depends on the cake, so I’m going to say ice cream. Ideally, both.
2. Corn flakes, with sprinkled sugar on top. This is totally different than Frosted Flakes. ;)
