Deb (SmoothieGirlEatsToo) February 1, 2010 at 11:55 pm

Yes it takes for-ever to line up guesties, but then you are free to lolly-gag to your hearts content!

Can you find Primal Strips in Peanut Thai flavor? Soooo good and a great snack to bring with. (it’s veggie jerky and nummmmmy). KIND bars are good for travel. Snack packs of almonds, etc. or make your own.

Goal for Feb: get off computer by 9pm!

Photos of the doggies sleeping:::::Tooo cute. I’ll miss them too!! Their photos anyway!.

Totally understand the no-reading-no-commenting jazz. NOOOO worries! Enjoy.

PS I totally do lists for my trips- in fact I have a whole folder in my computer called Checklists. Then Travel Checklists. Then Travel San Francisco 01/10, Travel UK 10/09 etc. Saves my booty every time. So I just copy and paste and edit as needed for the next trip- rename- boom.

I’ll miss you!

PS Loved seeing your meals all in one space- really helpful- really cool.

Karin February 2, 2010 at 2:45 am

Aww I can’t believe you’re leaving so soon! You’ll definitely be missed.
I love taking roasted soy sauce almonds with me when I travel. Great for snacking!

Lexi February 2, 2010 at 4:13 am

I love lists too! This post was great. Goal for Feb: do more yoga, read more, spend less time on the computer. Love the stache photos as always! :)

I always pack food with me, cause you never know and I like to safe rather than sorry!! I LIVE on my lists. I think I actually have a list that tells me I need to make my to-do list every day. Really, it’s a bit embarrassing. Have you used the Google List function in Igoogle? You should see my collection there. I have a Trader Joe’s List, a recipes I want to make list, a books I want to read list, a songs I want to download list….and it goes on and on! :)

YESSS JAMAICA TIMEE!!!! I am stoked for before and after pictures–you’ve been working so hard!

So, I just finished a bowl of yoatgurt and am pissed. I’m so sick and tasted only 15 percent of it, I’d say. ANNOYING. It’s so delicious and cake batter-y.

Hmmm, my goals for February include less computer time, applying for a sh!t ton of jobs, reading things that satisfy my soul, saving money, eating deliciously and loving life. I always put “loving life” on every list I make to remind myself to live outside my goals, too.

Uh, I’m all OVA the sweet potato thang and the chocolate thang. YESSSS. OH!!! I watched your video from a few days ago at, like, 2am. You are the cutest thing alive.

Love you!!! xoxoxo

Runeatrepeat February 2, 2010 at 6:06 am

SWEET POTATO MONTH…come to mama!

i love your lists. they only convince me that we are perhaps the same person just stuck in two completely different bodies. i love all your goals – i need to make some of my own! i think some blog work, staying consistent with workouts and reigning in miscellaneous spending rank up there as the top 3.

yay for island time – <3 you! annndddd…i am putting the finishing touches on my guest post and will send that to you later tonight! sorry for the delay. but i love you!

Jocelyn February 2, 2010 at 8:02 am

Kudos to getting this post in despite your crazy business! I’v been slacking since saturday..but slacking means spending time with my parents who just got in from Aruba (sooo tan…) And spending tiem with my boyfriend who left this morning :(

Anyways…Your workout looked insanely good..almost good enough to motivate me to get off my butt ;)

Have fun with completing that to do list!

Susan February 2, 2010 at 8:08 am

The week before vacay is always so exciting. Even though there’s a lot to do it’s still quite jazzy.

I love love love lists too! Grocery lists are my favorite kind though (wow, a favorite kind of list?? what does that say about me?).
I’m super excited to try your protein powdah girl! You are such a generous chica!

PS – a foamy latte stache pic is in the works : )

sassyras February 2, 2010 at 8:14 am

I’m jealous that you are going to my beautiful home. 3 MORE SLEEPS and you will be in Jamaica….This is what I use for my count down when I go at least 2x a year. Yeah, I’m a Jamaicaholic. Where are you staying? I usually stay in Ochio Rios (I have family in Kingston, St. Anns Bay and Port Maria). If you need a reliable driver, let me know.

You have a great list going so far. I’ve gotten much better at packing the night before (hehehe). I have my friends come over for a “Jamaica” party and help me pack. I make sure I pack outfits and then weigh my luggage because I refuse to give the airline a dime more. As far as packing goodies, the only thing I bought was larabars. I take this time to enjoy ALL the foods in Jamaica. And I tend to OD on Red stripe beers & rum punches and pay for it when I come to the US (ph balance way off).

Anyhoo, have a great trip and take lots of pictures. And please, please, take notes so you can do a trip report when you come back.

caronae February 2, 2010 at 8:43 am

I absolutely love making lists too. Nerds unite! That sounds like a killer treddy workout…might have to try it sometime. My Feb. goal is to kill the after dinner snacking, and I’m excited about it being chocolate month! Yes.

Lara (Thinspired) February 2, 2010 at 9:12 am

As a fellow list-lover, I am impressed. Lists WITHIN lists?! That just makes me happy.

ellie February 2, 2010 at 9:59 am

Don’t apologise for being busy- just know that you are missed! You must be pumped for Jamaica, no? I am excited to see all the guest posts!

I can’t believe you aren’t a kraut and frank person :(

Goals for Feb: keep on keepin’ on

Jamie (BeautyandtheBeef) February 2, 2010 at 6:57 pm

Not exactly what you asked for in terms of books but two of my favorites are She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb and The Glass Castle by Jeannette Wells. Both are very entertaining!

LindsayRuns February 2, 2010 at 7:02 pm

Susan February 3, 2010 at 11:06 am

Ohgosh, getting prepared for a trip is so stressful!! Just think of the wonderful end result :) Obviously, I love that treadmill sesh. I also love pyramid-ing my cardio.

1. I’ve got four – work out no more than 6 hours a week (no overtraining this month!), say yes more, make more meals with leftovers, and eat more fat. Day #3 and I feel good :)

2. Shape up with pickles!! There is something wrong with me, I want to eat pickles on EVERYTHING lately. Maybe I’ll kill a few birds at make a pickle pie and pickled batch of oats ;)
