20 min elliptical HIIT (increasing speed + resistance).

20 min elliptical HIIT:

i increased my resistance every minute and i increased my speed every two minutes. you can adjust the speed range to your ability, but if you try this one, i urge you to keep the resistance levels the same as below. just go a little slower/faster to suit your ability.

minute # resistance level speed range (MPH)
0-1 6 6.0-7.0
1-2 6 6.0-7.0
2-3 8 7.0-8.0
3-4 10 7.0-8.0
4-5 12 8.0-9.0
5-6 14 8.0-9.0
6-7 8 7.0-8.0
7-8 10 7.0-8.0
8-9 12 8.0-9.0
9-10 14 8.0-9.0
10-11 8 7.0-8.0
11-12 10 7.0-8.0
12-13 12 8.0-9.0
13-14 14 8.0-9.0
14-15 8 7.0-8.0
15-16 10 7.0-8.0
16-17 12 8.0-9.0
17-18 14 8.0-9.0
18-19 8 12.0-13.0
19-20 6 5.0-6.0

(: I wanted to do this but I was wondering how I would do speed on the elliptical because it only has resistance and incline.instead of speed do I do incline?
Thank you .

You could do incline.. or just go faster. That’s what I do on the elliptical, since you control how fast you are going.. just go a little faster each time :) Thanks for reading!

I want to do this tomorrow. Do you include any warm-ups or cool downs with this, or is it not necessary?

My elliptical only has strides/min. How do you translate mph to strides/min?
